....so he's unbelievable because he won at what he's always been best at since he started cycling?
I don't get it.
EDIT: he's a prologue specialist....who at one point suddenly started climbing well. But he's always been a prologue specialist.
First pro win: short time trial
First major win: short time trial
Second major win: short time trial
this is just another one.
As for Wiggins and the others, its only natural that they become much worse at prologues as they get older and lose explosiveness.

I was just presuming Carlosergud was expressing disbelief it was only 7 seconds

Am I the only one who thinks this result is not remotely credible? Contador is 62kg, Wiggins is 77kg. Contador is just beginning to build form for Le Tour, Wiggins was targeting the PN prologue specifically. For Contador to put 7 seconds in to the reigning Olympic pursuit champion over 9 dead-flat kilometres seems (dare I say it) super-human.
Contador -> Contabore -> Contadope

Jakob Fuglsang did very good today... Hopefully he can tease the climbers when we hit the mountains... |

Contador's targeting this race specifically. As for weight, that's to Wiggins' disavantage on the climbs, and no advantage at all, given that this wasn't downhill and that this wasn't a windy 50km TT
