Where was Basso and Landis?
Basso was something like 65th and Landis something like 84th.
Perhaps that is what happens when you are banned for using illegal PED's (performance enhancing drugs) and haven't raced in 2 years or so. We shall see if they can shake the rust off and make a good showing, but I doubt it, plus if they were using and are now clean we see how good they "really" are. |

Tomorrow stage is going to be tough to call. I'll be there live of course. Might be a sprint but with the trip up calistoga road so late in the race(with only a few miles of descending and a circuit around the SR city center(same as in year past) it might come down to a sprint. My tips for the BOTD are a BMC guy (Preferably Scotty Nydam) and Steve Cozza. I'm sure Astana would let Scotty go at the behest of Levi (training buddies) and both Scotty and Steve would love to show off to the home crowd.

It's a 4km prologue, what a dumb conclusion.
Was Basso ever known for his fantastic prologues? As for Landis, he is just piss |

Yeah, I noticed he wasn't in his "Preying Mantis" position that he used to win all those time-trials, was it banned? |

With an estimated functional threshold power (FTP) of 400 watts
If that's Larsson's FTP, it's pretty low compared to most time trialists, I don't believe that. |

What is the real meaning of it? I read that there different meanings, one being the average wattage that you can sustain over a 20 minute test. Another over an hour. Which is it?

You can give Cancellara pretty much any pro racing bike, and he'll win |

Yeah, Smoothie even you have to admit the Transition isn't anywhere near the top level of Time-Trial bikes. I'm admitting the Equinox isn't either. If you look at the best, your looking at the P4 (or even the P3C), the Dean, the 596, and others. |

I concede that I forgot this was only a prologue, but as for the "dumbness" of my conclusion, lets see where they stand at the end of the race, I don't see them moving up in the standings all that much. Maybe one of them will win and prove me wrong but I doubt it highly. |

This is quite funny. So if neither Basso or Landis win the ToC, that means you're right? |
