Hayakawa can you please just... you know, not lose a stage handed to you in a silver plater?!
Interesting mountain stage. Godoy doing his thing, congrats Bushwackers! Thrilling fight for the GC for tomorrow. Also cool to see Fortunato in the mix for the KoM. Not sure we're going to get much out of that, but I'm enjoying seeing the team actually play this role.

Godoy too strong but excellent to see Beltran in that KOM and Bennett up to the podium on GC. Hilly stage next which Bennett has been fairly good at this season so hopefully he can go well!
Congrats to the winner and thanks for awesome reports so far!

Very solid from Sosa, a podium tomorrow would move it from solid to good. Of course, a bad day could do the opposite. On paper he is one of the favorites but . . .
Also, a nice ride by Kuss.
Tough day for Meintjes, sympathy to Cunego on that but Godoy doing what was expected. Congrats to UBS. Thanks for the report./

BENNETT! Like I said he’s been good on stages like this! And leading the GC with only a flat stage left! Great so far! One more stage to close out our first GC victory of the year!! Good to see Beltran still in the KOM as well.
Thanks for the excellent report!!

Amazing result for Spark here! Really killing it, and slowly starting to close the Gap to the top 5. Really happy about that! :-)

At least we were present in the break again
Congrats on the result Jackstar!
And thanks for the excellent reports so far. Might not comment after the final sprint in case we disappoint again.

Pierre Paolo you beauty! Was fully expecting him to lose time today as he's not the best in the hills, but instead he goes and gains a few places on GC! Without ever doing anything flashy we've managed to get a top 10 on every stage, a top 5 GC unless something catastrophic happens on the final stage, and also the team standings. Surely our best C1 performance of the season.

Leemreize doing enough to hold on to 7th in the GC while Carcueva improves a couple of places. We've done everything well so far. Even improved further in the U25s.
Nice to see Bennett still has it! Congrats jakstar and thanks for the report

Oh so close for that elusive stage win #8 on the season to check off one of our last team goals of the year. Really strong ride by JPL, not so much for Elosegui.

A really nice ride from Bennett, this is the kind of stage he has always thrived on, pretty careless from Godoy and Barguil to let the GC slip away.
Now time for some self-pity. On the bottom end of acceptable outcomes for Sosa with 6th on GC and no stage top 5s. Seems like Sosa was chasing the race in the last two stages, closing the gaps instead of creating them - he could have been winning that stage if he was in the escape group. This kind of fits the pattern of our season, always on the lower end (or below) potential expectations.
Maybe Haller can do something tomorrow but would be pretty surprised if the isn't sprinting for 7th (so that means someone in the break guys).
On a positive note, a nice ride from Kuss. He probably has our only two clearly above expectation rides this season with 11th here and the KOM win in East Java.
Thanks to KB for the reports.

Quite unfortunate that Meintjes had that off-day in the mountains. Even just finishing on the same time as the group just ahead would've given him the GC win by 2 seconds. Good thing that we don't really have much to play for this season, I suppose Still, 5th overall is an okay result, with two podium finishes and a few points from the points classification. Ndayisenga ultimately with another disappointing ride, unfortunately, but that was never going to matter that much.
Let's see if Joeri can sprint for another Top 10 on the final day, that would be nice. Either way, thanks for the reports so far KB!

Let's go Bennett with yet another hilltop victory in his career and adding a GC win to his palmares is very cool - especially here in a race he's liked but never loved and should have done better in over the years. Love to see it.
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I mean that's an interesting way to end the race with a 2nd to 4th on the stage just classic hilarious racing from this team we have our moments but there few and far between and then we will do something ridiculous |

We came here hoping for a Top 10, so 7th, 13th and 29th in the GC with a stage win and the U25 domination is a good return from this race.
Congrats to jakstar and thanks for the reports

Very fun race to follow, thanks KB. Congrats to jandal on Bennett's great win here. It would have been great to have Godoy a spot higher on the podium, but we have a decent haul here with 2 stages, 3rd overall, and the green jersey.
