The climbers in the end still dominate but Vansevenant at least showed his strength by always finishing with the main favourites. 9th is a bit less than hoped before but that's my fault as I wasn't that aware of the climber advantage tbh.

A better result by Gidich in the stage and 4th as best of the rest is fine. However, I'm still waiting for his one outstanding result this season. So far he is very consistent, which is good but he should also be able to bring us some victories every now and then.

Not the most active first 2 stages from our guys but avoided losing time. Choi then with a solid ride for 7th in Stage 3 and the GC, a bit of a pity he wasn't a couple spots higher in that group. Clearly favoured over Shikai is surprising but we get some depth points for him and Storer too.

We managed to hide completely in the first two stages, but Juntunen made the final stage a good one for us. Add a minor GC result by APP and it's been a good WC race overall.
Sure, the only stage where there are gaps is the most random one in terms of stage results... Inexplicable to see great hybrids like Higuita or Formolo not making the front group, and obviously disappointing from Schmid, too. Another failure by him, looks more and more like he's not worth spending training money for. Can't see why he shouldn't keep up with Vansevenant or even Pidcock here tbh...

Been a really tough month for our season ambitions which this doesn't really undo, but a really special moment here. A true head-to-head-to-head between the "Big Three" of the harder hills and to come out on top, beating Herklotz and earning our first ever PT GC victory is an awesome moment for the history of the team and Areruya's career. And doing it in style by being on the offensive is just perfect. Hope this is the start of a near-perfect final half of the season for him as we will need, but for now can just enjoy it.
Pidcock also doing well, clearly a valuable helper but much like in Balkans last year not only helping deliver Areruya's GC victory but also securing good points himself. Shame he loses another round with Mauri on countback for the U25 and GC Top 10, but love to see the rivalry continue
