K, will give these tips a try. However another problem has arisen. I managed to install a copy of excel, but when I try and open one of the XML files converted in Full Editor it doesn't open in tabular form ? Any ideas ? Regards Jaywol. |

When I open up XML files in excel, it usually gives me three options.
Choose the "Open as an XML table" option.
If it doesn't do this, google how to turn it on. |

I can't find this option as I'm using excel from the office 2000 disc. Will have to try and find a more up to date version. Regards Jaywol. |

Excel 2000 doesn't support tabular .xml.
you need 2007 version (or Excel 12) |

That means there's probably a mistake like an empty line or empty box in one of the tables you edited. |

It's tricky sometimes As Fenian said it's probably empty line.
Also if you copy data from one .xml to another you must check the order of rows. This could be different in different db's. If so you must reorder manualy.
Also check id's... If you are adding the sponsors and just copy new columns into old .db you end up having two sponsors with same value in IDsecondary_sponsor. |

That won't make the exporter crash, though |

I don't use it myself - but think I remember that you need Microsoft .NET framework installed for it to work. |

Great success !!! I simply replaced the existing secondary sponsor names with some of the ones from the PCM Daily 2009 db, without editing any other data and all is sweet. I will have to edit industry branch, but hopefully that shouldn't cause any problems. Thx for your help, regards Jaywol. |

I don't really see what's to explain. Put the DB in the Database folder. Open the editor, click import, make your changes, click export. |

copy the database into the database folder of advanced Editor (full editor) Open the editor and click import, make sure to select the correct db. make the changes you want to. click export and replace with the original db or name it something different. Hope this helps.
(I just based it off CrueTrues post.)
