Haven't you ever heard the old guy who comments on british eurosport?
"I...uh...be cause *mumble mumble* *laughter* *mumble* in my days *mumble mumble mumble* *mumble/laughter mix* not very much at the moment"
good point, that old guy is Sean Kelly.
I'm talking about the main commentator who keeps talking about how old he is and how he's sorry that being old makes him rable instead of commentating..... Sean Kelly is the "aid" with the impossible to understand irish accent.
You're talking about David 'Duffers' Duffield. I honestly don't know how that man qualifies as a 'commentator', but I do know that the mute button has never been so appreciated by so many
I watched the race on cycling.tv with Phil Ligget, i know some you don' t like him, but i personally do. But he did have his customary Liggetism, when referring to Lance's schedule this year, he said that Lance is going to have busy year riding both the Giro and the Tour of Italy. Clearly he meant the giro and the tour de france, but still that was some error.

I think Ligget and Sherwen are great, I just find it funny how they mess-up a lot. But for those of you who know him, I think we can all agree the world would be a less painful place with Bob Roll of the air |

Yesterday I was watching the 1993 Giro Highlights. Cassani (Mr. "I saw Rasmussen training in italy, he wasn't in Mexico" ) is on a solo break and the graphic flashes on the screen: "1991 Milano-Torino winner".
Phil goes: "As we have the indication here, he a former winner of the great classic Milan - San Remo"

He should finish the race. Its the biggest race in his home county, and to be honest I don't see him racing next year. |

Don't be deceived by the organisers' graphs. The stage was pretty flat. The hardest "climb" that they went up 4 times had an elevation gain of 10m/km |

Well, pardon me, but if guys like Elmiger are in the top 10, and if Greipel can't keep up, and if Eisel and co even finish at 18 minutes, then this was a stage were Brown normally would have finished in the 18 minutes group... |

Well, in an early season race, if the pace is high at the start, anyone who doesn't have the race as a goal tends to let go so as not to go into the red and hurt their preparation for future races.
For Brown, though, this is definitely an important race, and it's natural he won't "let go" easily like the others did. |
