The bbc is getting us in the mood. They've put some 90's australian gp's up on the red button for us to watch

I know that you shouldn't put too much into the training sessions - but still, with the 'new' cars and all, it might be interesting. The Williams team was the fastest with Rosberg first while Nakajima second (!) on the first training.
And McLaren still seem to have huge problems with their car.
Can't wait for the season to start! |

I can't remember ever being so excited about the Formula 1 season starting - got up early to watch the second practice session this morning!
It's great to see Williams doing so well, and it's just fantastic to see so many teams capable of victory |

The "breaking news" Is from a month and a half ago
Simple, all the other teams finally figured out why the Brawn, Toyota and Williams are so much faster....they have very cleverly shaped diffusers.
The reaction by the other teams has been the same as whenever someone comes up with a brilliant new idea: "FUCK! we didn't think of that. quick, let's protest it's illegal and hope it sticks while we develop our own"
The protest failed, of course. The stewards thoroughly inspected the cars and found nothing illegal about them. Meanwhile, McLaren tried to quickly implement the same concept on their car.
But their version is a bit half-assed, or so it seems.
Here's the fun part: the original idea for this concept came from.....last year's Super Aguri |

Yeah, I already knew that. But he wrote rear wings, so it could have been some other issue, cause the diffusers isn't on the rear wings.
Those diffusers was really innovative and of course annoying when you didn't think about yourself. But if it is according to the rules then it is correct.
I'm really looking forward to Sunday with such an open race.
