TOUR DE BESSEGES STAGE 3
This is the decisive stage of the GC. For the first time Van Mechelen failed to get in the BOTD so no KOM points for him today, this leads to him losing his jersey. Again a break, again they had no chance. On the last climb the favorites attacked with De Waele on their wheels. Pineau got away from the rest of the favorites and would win the stage.
The other group, which includes De Waele, were too close to the “peloton” so they didn`t make any time gaps.

TOUR DE BESSEGES STAGE 4
We were in the break... Again. Guess who was our man. Yes, it was Wouter. He only needed one point one today stage to take back the KOM-jersey. He succeeded in getting points, in fact he got 10 points so now he is up in 40.
But as all the other flat stages it would end in a sprint. And at last, the best sprinter managed to get a victory, this day belongs to Gerald Ciolek.
When it comes to our own riders, Bert tried to get a high position as possible to get some bonus seconds, but he didn`t managed to go higher than an eight place. And the so called “sprinter” of ours, Vanlandschoot, finished a poor, poor, 15th.

TOUR DE HAUT VAR
It had been a break but no real threat. At the bottom of the last hill the favorites started attacking. De Waele went after Voeckler and Garzelli, but he couldn`t keep up with the pace so he ended up in the group behind together with Gadret, Chavanel and Ignatiev
while Garzelli, Voeckler and Casar were up in the front fighting for victory.
De Waele managed to just hang onto his group. He was the best sprinter but had nothing left to give so he would have to settle for seventh place. In the front Garzelli just edged out Voeckler for the victory.

OMLOOP HET VOLK
The first of two Belgian cobbled races, even though we have a pretty good cobble squad for a Continental team we don`t expect anything, cause all the big names are here such as Cancellara, Hoste, Boonen etc.
There are no attacks at all, so the peloton just rolls through the first kilometers of cobbled sections without very much interesting happen.
Not until the third cobbled section anything special happens, but then in the back of the peloton.
Nico Sijmens are down and he will not get back up there again.
Now it is only 50ks to go and the peloton is splitting like ice flakes on the North Pole.
Cancellara are up in the front on his own, and behind him is all the favorites, and De Waele.
With 30 kilometers to go for Cancellara, this is the situation.
Hoste, Nuyens, Backstedt, Gusev and Van Petegem are nearest the Swiss engine.
Then it is Boonen and a team mate, Hammond and Gilbert.
And lonely left behind it is O`Grady, before even further back
it`s the American champion Hincapie. Our guys are nowhere to be seen as De Waele lost contact around 10 kilometers before.
but this is Cancellaras` race, total domination
Forgot to export so I only got top 3, our guys where faar behind
1.Cancellara
2.Hoste
3.Nuyens

Here are the results from Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne which I simmed:
Next up Le Samyn
---------------------------
LE SAMYN
Cappelle led the breakaway but they will be caught.
And with 20 kilometers to go Sijmens tries to breakaway, but he was caught with 2.5 left.
It was one of the best sprinters in the continental circuit, Olaf Pollack who took the win. But could Vanlandschoot get a podium. Oh yes he can.

Great podium with Vanlandschoot! Try to delete the circles under the cyclists and the names, your ss will be much better then! But a great story you have started here, good luck olabj.

hahahaha, I can't believe Big Maggie won Kuurne
Good ride at Le Samyn, that means that your close to your second win, as it is nearly impossible to lose Nokere-Koerse, simply attack with De Waele with around 8 kms left, and have your sprinter positioned at the front of the pack and you'll probably take a 1-2 |

PARIS- NICE
Here we are at our biggest race of the season, it`s the Paris-Nice. We don`t expect anything but we will try to take a stage win and wear the KOM jersey in a break or two. Bert De Waele has chosen the third stage as a stage for him but first it is the prologue.
Brian Vandborg is the first real TT man to have a go.
He takes the lead but it doesn`t hold for long as Fabian Cancellara hit the road right after him and takes the lead.
The leader of the Discovery team, Tom Danielson set a god time but only good enough for a 27th at the end.
One of the race favorites Samuel Sanchez didn`t do very well only managed an 18th.
Arvesen the Norwegian TT champ took a 33th.
Davide Rebellin another race favorite took second as team mate Ronny Scholz took first. A good day for Gerolsteiner, taking a 1-2 in the prologue.
