That means that I will boycot this DB, because I've made it verry clear when I released any of my stages. I've given permission to everybody who just asked it, but if you don't even take the effort to ask it, than this is my only option.
then make not stages for a pc game... you have no rights for DLC (download-content). Read the EULA. all db´s, stages, jerseys and others you create is the copyright for publisher/developer only.

he obviously knows that...
You couldn't be less polite could you?...
Someone does the favour to share his work and instead of thanking you just rub tat copyright talk on his face...

You have the copyright on anything you make. Well, it's not the REAL copyright, but that's what we call it in Dutch. It's the right that you are the author of something. ANYBODY who want to use it has to ask to the author if he may use it, if nothing else is said. That is the law...
If it doesn't work like this in England, France or Germany, than still it works like this in The Netherlands, where I live, where my stages are published. Which means that you still have to ask permission to me, especially when I say you have to do!
@the one above me: He did not, again: HE DID NOT send me a PM. Not on NCL, not here, not on Cyanide, not in my mail. And, if he didn't get a answer (which he didn't), then he still can't use my stages.
I think it would be nice to ask if you're going to use Bilbo's stuff.
Though, you said you did that and there was no reply. And Bilbo says there was no message. Best way to resolve this would be a few PM's I think. Seems Bilbo doesn't object to them being used, as long as you ask first.
Anyway, was looking at the DB and looks kind of cool. So, as I said, nice work.
My big question is about stages/races. Are you going to add some more Asian races for the Asian teams at some stage?

No problem with that, I think Coach sent a new pm to Bilbo yesterday, concerning the asian races, we want to add a maximum of races, so there will be probably at least the UCI Asia Tour, we just need to have the 2009 percurses.

This patch update the db with the good objectives for all teams (there was some problems with many teams), correct some stages on "Etoile de Bessèges" or "Tour Med" and add a first photos package for PT teams.

No, you create stages for a game with materials vom developer. you upload your work, and this is your risk. You have no rights for any dlc´s. bytheway: this flamewar is idiotically.

At first: I never flamed, like you implied.
At second: you're totally wrong. When I create a beautiful t-shirt with photoshop, which a professional hired by me, prints on a t-shirt. I sell it.
In your eyes this can happen: a buyer sees it and goes to the same professional and says: I want 10498172341234 of this. They get printed.
When I find this out, I go to the court. The court says that he was acting like the law.
No, this won't happen, I would get money for every t-shirt which he sells. So, let's put it in another vision. Replace the t-shirts by my stages and the professionals by downloadwebsites/forums.
If you still won't believe me, then you can stick to your opinion if you want. I've got my own business in webdesign and I know how it works. Even when I sell a complete website to a customour, I can still (!) use and do everything to the website, as long as I did not transer the copyright to the buyer. Yes, the world works like that!

One time more, his name has been written on the thanks and yesterday coach sent him another pm, so this polemic shouldn't exist anymore.
You stick to your opinion without any evidence that you send me a PM. I never delete anything, unless the box is full, which means that I will backup it somewhere else. But, that didn't work out, like I said. Still you stick to your opinion, so there's nothing more for me to say. That's just ridiculous.

Wasn't I clear enough? Delete my stages form this DB immediately! Thanks in advance :/

You have no rights for this... read the eula... you create a stage, and you have the risks for find your stages in other db´s... its your problem only.... clear enough?
vizlefx is the same... focus is a easy publisher, but ea make no jokes with this... i work since year 2000 in gaming communitys (mapping, modding etc.) and i know the problems... userfiles are a one-way thing... you create, and the people use this without any limitations. this is the deal... a other deal is the publisher says "you do not create shirts, stages and other"... which deal is better?
shirts: same with the stages... the rights holds by cyanide... you use the format and other legal matters.. you upload this... each lawyer can say to you "guy, you hurt copyrights... and read the eula"... only cyanide hold the licences (create shirts with quickstep logos etc., same with iso builds)...

Gentlemen. Bilbo Baggins is right, we just dont take from others and release without written consent.
ThunderBlaze, unless you want me to take your DB and release it under my name with some minor modifications to prove your very own point, i advice that you and whoever made this DB to replace Bilbo Baggins' stages or get consent from him.
Stop crying Bilbo, your fucking stages will be deleted, the true is that you just want to annoy us.
Then I think I will post all the pm coach sent you with excuses and everything so you will finally stop talk !
YOU are ridiculous, that's incredible to be like that for a game ! Then you delete our post at procyclingmanager.com just for that without any discussion before, your reaction is totaly immature, we will delete your stages on this pack, but don't come here one more time to post your hate.
Finally it's a beta-test, so we will delete your stages for the V.1 version, not before if we haven't time, we haven't only that to do.

It's just a 1-minute work to delete my stages... If you release a first update, then the incorrections should be correct. To use my stages, is a incorrection. In your first update, it isn't corrected... It doesn't matter if it is a beta test or not, a DB is a DB.
If you violate my rules, then your topic will be deleted from NCL. That's just pure logic... I've never just got apologies from someone. I only got PM's with the title "sorry" and with loads of bullshit in it, which blames me! So no, then I can't be nice, you also wouldn't be nice in my position... And no, I still didn't get any question to use my stages (not that my answer would be yes, but still, that would be a nice...).
It's an unwritten rule that you may use work of other people without asking it, but you have to put them in the list of credits. We (The PCM-Community) do this for more than five years, so I don't understand why somebody will change this.

I've tell you (and to Jaap) in November if I can use any stage that you made, maybe you don't remember and it's my fault if I haven't send you again a pm in february.
Weird, because I'm pretty I have send you a MP at this date.
I'm like you, I will be very disappointed if somebody uses this DB as his DB, or copy my stories as him stories.
That's why I've asked each stage makers and gave them credits. If I would stolen your work, why do I quote you in the credits ? I'm sure I have a pm in November to each stage maker and I'm sory of this polemic.
It's why I've asked global permission. If I send you one PM for each stage, your reception mailbox will be full (specialy if you didn't delete any PM). So you could boycott this pack if you want but I'm sure I asked a global permission in November.
It your voice against my voice and I'm apologize if you haven't receive this pm for any reason that I don't know but I'm pretty sure, I send it, but it's true, I haven't answer from you, but I thought elsewhere I don't put your name in the credits.
Never I said it's your fault. I just submit the idea that your mailbox on Cyanide forum was full.
Jaap has right and that's what we make since the first release (Bilbo_Baggins was in credits as Jaap and other stage makers).

Bilbo is on the list of credits.
Total bullshit. If I want to change that "rule" (like you call it), than I can. You have to ask ME permission to use my stages. Only in the credits is not enough.
I've said it with EVERY release, it's in EVERY readme, so yes, it's everywhere. If you still can't read, than you have to live with the consequencies.
My PM box was not full. I do NEVER delete a PM and after that, I've got loads of contact with Freire...
So, again, in the next release, my stages are out this stupid DB.
BTW: check your stages. I did not know that there are decents of 170%...
