A much better 2.Pro race on the second try. Many stages for punchers so we let the team's best sprinter Kopecký recover from illness at home.
Potočki was our man for the first stage and launched a tad early or he could have done even better than fifth. Securing the sponsor goal on day 1 let us race more freely afterwards. Boroš overcame a rough couple of days to finish third on day four. Potočki remained close in GC until the last day but Green Mountain proved too tough for him.
Michael Woods was the man of the week with two stage wins and a second place. He would have been in the mix for the GC had he not been caught off guard on the first stage. |

In a truly stacked field, we missed a major acceleration leading up to the sprint on day one. Nys won comfortably with our best rider only in 24th.
Youngster Ladislav Kríž, aged 18, joined the breakaway on the second and last day. Disappointed about not having done better at the KoM sprints, he did beat the best sprinter of the group when the breakaway fought for the stage win.
Sadly, that was not good enough to win the stage too. Somehow Matěj Zahálka finished 7th overall after making the stage top 10 in the bunch sprint. |

UMAG Classic was the long awaited first race of sprint signing Matyáš Kopecký. Coming 9th was a mostly disappointing result after he had launched his sprint too late.
We tried to start with new courage at the POREC Classic, taking charge of the chase on the slightly hillier course. Potočki tried to control for Matyáš on the last climb the best way he could. They were both surprised by Lauk launching very early, but a strong reaction made Kopecký celebrate a narrow first pro win and our first triumph of the season.
Novák and Potočki shared the GC captain role going into the four-day Istrian Spring Tour. They both did fairly good on the prologue and were supposed to help Matyáš Kopecký on the next two stages. The latter however launched too late twice, causing Potočki to finish ahead of him both times, finishing 1st and 2nd no less.
We had all jerseys in our team at a certain point. The first we had let go of was the mountain jersey when Gajdulewicz had to retire from the race with a fractured patella.
Kopecký started the final stage in GC first but that's exactly where we totally lost control of the race. Figueiredo, a good climber, won the stage from the break and in the pack only Novák had a somewhat good ride up the last climb. He still had to let fellow GC rider Metkel Eyob go. The latter took the overall and pipped Potočki in the fight for the points jersey. Pavel saved us with a GC podium and the white jersey.

Two flat stages we wanted to do well at and just as many times we didn't handle the corners in the last kms too well. Not the best way to get started in Pays de la Loire.
Both good old Boroš and neo pro Kríž did great at the hillier stages though. We were especially proud to when they came 5th and 7th as we were still four in the 20-man front group on the final stage. No stage wins but two of us did make the GC top 10.
A couple of days later, the peloton kept getting thinned on the bumpy roads of Tour du Jura Cycliste. Viktor Potočki was our last man to get dropped before bouncing back to finish narrowly inside the top 10.

Back to 2.Pro racing, with a GC top 20 sponsor goal on the line. Helped by an underwhelming field, we got of to a great start with Kopecký getting 3rd in the first bunch sprint. Boroš took over on the next few stages for puncheurs and somehow ended up winning two.
The queen stage on day 5 featured the brutal Kartepe climb. Novák all but secured our sponsor goal by getting an impressive fourth place. He even kept the gap to those in front of him small enough to set foot on the provisional GC podium.
That is exactly where he'd stay too, as we left Türkiye with two stages wins, the white jersey, an overall podium and second places in both the points and KoM classifications. |

We couldn't wish for a better start with Potočki claiming the first stage. When he got boxed in on the next day, Ladislav Kríž surprised everyone winning the second one for us too.
Whilst Novák made the cut on the mountain stage going over Torre, the highest point of mainland Portugal, he was unhappy to come only 5th in the group that fought for the third stage.
Pavel still had a slim to chance to win the GC on the ultimate day. However, we couldn't shake GC leader Pellaud on the climbs. The Swiss even cemented his GC position winning the final stage ahead of Potočki. |

We had our eyes on stage wins primarily when we left to race in southeast France. Home rider Jannière won the first two stages for TotalEnergies, the only Pro Team on the startlist.
We started to turn the tables on day three, which is when we saw Potočki win the stage. He repeated this feat on the day after, forcing Jeannière out of the leader's jersey.
Last up was a stage with several cat.1 climbs. Despite having stronger climbers than Potočki, the other teams failed to truly test him on difficulties such as Col de Marcieu.
After all climbs had been dealt with, Viktor decided to give something back to the team, helping Kopecky to win the final stage. We concluded the race with three stage wins and just as many jerseys.

Glad to have three riders in the top 10 on the mountain prologue, until the second to last rider crushed the best time until then. Santiago Umba showed XDS Astana might have been wrong dropping him to their development team, as he also won on the other two uphill finishes. We collectively cracked on the final day, merely making the GC top 20 with Novák. |

Getting bullied by riders that should be nowhere near the Conti division, part II. Former CCC, Cofidis and Q36.5 rider Sajnok and XDS Astana dropout Gleb Syritsa won the first two stages. Kopecký came 8th twice in a row.
Matyáš picked the perfect wheel for the final bunch sprint. He even managed to outsprint Syritsa, only to get pipped by sprint talent Theodor Storm. Our man still concluded in GC 2nd though. |

Novák gave us a fourth place in the traditional uphill prologue. Potocki tried to be involved in the mass sprint on day 2, but he was overpowered by stronger pure sprinters. The Croatian champion made up for it by winning the third stage, his 5th triumph of the season already. Ťoupalík had secured the mountain jersey by then.
All eyes on the GC fight on the final day. Santiago Umba was the top favorite once more and he lived up to his status, even if he could only go clear near the top of the last climb.
Novák coming fourth was just enough to put him on another GC podium. |

Nothing to write home about concerning the time trials. We only send Přidal to compete in Czechia, but just like Gajdulewicz in Poland, he finished far down. Potočki made use of the small smart list to come second, yet far adrift from winner Miholjević.

The same modest startlist made for a very tactical road race in Croatia. Potočki countered all attacks and used a moment of hesitation to go and finish clear of the rest.
Getting Camrda into the breakaway was plan A for the road race in Czechia. We succeeded, and even ended up being three in the break after a chasing group with Kubelka and Boroš had caught up.
The latter two supported Camrda as he challenged big names such as Bittner, Adam Ťoupalík, Schlegel, Otruba and Josef Černý in a very fast race.
An attack on the last lap's ultimate climb left Karel with no choice but to risk at all heading towards the finish line. The chasing group kept shrinking but around six riders didn't stop working together in order to reel him in.
Karel celebrated early mistaking the start line for the one that indicates the finish, yet he still managed to secure the national jersey and his first ever pro win. About 10" later, Pavel Bittner and Adam Ťoupalík each sprinted to a spot on the podium.
Mateusz Gajdulewicz hid inside the bunch on surprisingly bumpy roads of the Polish NC road race. Especially Szymon Sajnok's Voster ATS Teams spent much energy and many riders trying to reel in the breakaway.
They didn't have anything left to chase down a new and stronger group of attackers. Kwiatkowski took one of several road race wins from that group, with Maciejuk and Małecki securing a medal as well. Mateusz finished in 12th, a very encouraging result having to fight back after a major injury.

With a team time trial on the first day and an uphill finish on the last, we had no intention of doing well in the overall. We sadly did not do well at the flat stages either, launching too late with Kopecký, causing him to finish behind Boroš twice.
The Q36.5 team, that featured the yellow jersey after winning the team time trial, hit the last two bumpy stages with Milan Vader in the lead. Finishing close to the stage winner on both occasions was enough for him to claim the overall win. With us settling for stage top 20's and the team time trial deficit, GC 16th for Ťoupalík was a somewhat acceptable result. |

So man Pro Teams have found their way to this Romanian stage race by now. Q36.5 dominated on the first two days with a prologue triumph for Steimle. Kríž tried to go for the mountain jersey on the puncheurs stage that was won by Malecki, but had to settle for a second place afterwards.
Novák hoped for a good on the brutal climb to Bâlea Lac, but that was far from enough to keep up with the strongest climbers. Fagundez was a bit of a surprise when he dropped the likes of Umba and Sosa to win the queen stage. The mountain time trial on Păltiniș was won by Sosa, but Fagundez comfortably retained the yellow jersey.
The only thing left on the concluding stage was getting Kríž in the mountain jersey. Unchallenged by the then leader of that classification, he outrode his breakaway companions to make sure we got at least one thing to remember about this race |

Four races and just as many disappointing result. We were beat fair in square on the steep finish in Hungary after being too cautious in the phase just before the last difficulty. We couldn't do better than an 8th place with Potočki.
Trying to set things straight in Slovakia, we delivered what could be our best leadout of the last two years. Kopecký, however, ran out of energy just a little too early and had to settle for third.
A surprisingly tough field made perfect use of the bumpy roads and harsh weather conditions in Poland. After Kubelka had crashed out with a fractured vertebrae, the bunch kept getting thinned with each lap. Kopecký didn't do that bad keeping up until the last difficulty, after which he had to sit up and fight for 13th.
Kopecký was also our leader for the last-but-not-least race in Czechia. After overcoming the ultimate hill, he launched too late in the downhill sprint as we got rewarded with the three least consoling places in the top 5. Gajdulewicz' third place is encouraging though after his lengthy injury. |

Once more, a slow start on an opening time trial did us dirty for the rest of the race, despite Přidal making the top 10 against the clock.
Local rider Rafael Reis lost the leaders jersey on the first hilly stage to former World Tour rider Rodrigo Contreras. The Colombian held it on the third day, securing his team mate Guatibonza's sprint win in the process.
With just a steep uphill finish left, we were very unlikely to play any role. Then again, Potočki had a very strong kick to the line, finishing only just behind points and mountain jersey winner Tobias Sverre. |

Coming only 28th here last year was a major letdown, and we'd have to do much better to achieve our GC top 10 sponsor goal[/b].
Kopecký could only target the first, flat stage and was happy to finish in third. From there, our attention shifted to Novák's ambitions for the overall. We kept up almost surprisingly well on the first summit finish, where Boroš[/b] finished in the GC group as Novák[/b] had to let go at the very end, losing 22".
On day three, Boroš realised Novák had a much better chance of a decent GC result and assisted him far up the final climb, helping Pavel and Ladislav Kríž to finish in the 14-man yellow jersey group. Novák gained enough time to move up to 14th overall.
The ultimate stage concluded with four ascents of the same short climb. Novák came sixth after we had made things as hard as possible, and took just enough time and places to secure a GC top 10. Davide Bais claimed the overall win.

We had modest ambitions when we noticed Tudor would bring Alaphilippe, Hirschi and Trentin to this race. Our start couldn't be better though, as we had two riders in the group of nine that fought for the first stage.
The split proved to be decisive for the overall, as stage one winner Jegat kept the leaders jersey until the very end. Kopecký had solid stage results despite crashing twice and came GC 5th, simultaneously bringing home the white jersey. |

One final sponsor goal for this season, having achieved all of the previous ones, was getting top 10 overall here.
A disastrous prologue didn't indicate an upcoming clean sweep at all though. GC hope Novák finished far down the field, losing 45" early on. Former World Tour rider de Bod surprisingly beat the likes of Van Moer and Segaert for the first blue jersey. With Viviani and a strong TotalEnergies team here, we didn't have the highest hopes for the subsequent sprint stages. Kopecký still did fairly well with a 6th and a 2nd place.
Pavel Novák needed a solid performance on the Schauinsland summit finish. Top favourite Ivan Sosa crashed and couldn't get involved in the GC fight.
Pavel followed well as the group was thinned, knowing he eventually wouldn't have the legs to fight for the stage victory. Finishing 1'30" behind Jegat, he still managed to leap into GC 7th. Potočki hopped into the top 10 too after working hard for Pavel.
A splendid team performance on the last bumpy stage ended with Kopecký's second stage win of the year, our first ever in a .Pro race, and the points jersey. Potočki gained another spot in the GC, making us conclude in 7th, 8th overall.

A simply disastrous secondary home race. Bad team time trial, bad sprints and a mediocre 14th place in the mountain time trial. Obdržálek somehow the KoM jersey by just pacing. |
