Another second place for Aular, leading to third in the final GC. Great result(s) from him here and in Eritrea. Oomen and Yates were simply the best riders here with two stage wins each. Congratulations Eden and Ollfahrd
And for the first time ever we win a u25 jersey. By a self trained rider from zero to nothing as well. Happy thar Osorio was able to do this. Amazing feeling for the team, fans and manager. Beltran in fourth there is solid as well. Sucks for Ezee that Schelling broke down on the final stage, but I'm glad Hindley was able to win the Kom for them.
Thank you for five magnificent reports, kb.

Madrazo finally gets us a decent GC position! Good race from him and so close to a stage victory. That would have been the icing on the cake but I’ll take 2nd place and 6th overall. It was good to see Schleck up there with an opportunity to take a stage in the last day. But the GC guys to strong for the break.
Congrats to Yates and his team and excellent reports!

Painful to not get any reward for that great attack in the close there, but couldn't have beaten Oomen to the stage and wouldn't have made any GC difference with it all coming together. 5th looks pretty good considering the shocking rest of Bennett's season, but still a big disappointment really.
Thanks for the reports kandes and congrats Eden on a huge win from Yates.

Reguigui pulls out a couple points today to make sure the race isn't a total bomb. Otherwise was a ton of fun to watch the GC battle. Lots of fun to see some juggernauts fight in the high mountains.
Congrats Eden on the GC win and thank you for the reports, kandes! Lots of fun to follow the last few days.

First, thanks for the splendid reporting kb.
Congrats to all winners and succesful teams! And I am happy that I can really count ourselves in this category too. Though we did lose the white jersey but Hindley probably had a the feeling that Ide isnt in his top condition today so he grabbed the KoM shirt instead
This race was way more succesful then we thought initially. Great job by the whole team and I am really glad they can show now what they are capable of even if the first half of the seasons wasnt that great.

We come without a GC contender, leaving Meintjes at home, but with Ndayisenga, Eyob and Tesfatsion, we have three very capable climbers who should hopefully go all out for the breakaway. I'll be disappointed if we're not in the breakaway in at least three of the four road stages, and hopefully we can compete for the mountain jersey.
Well, we were in the breakaway three times and Tesfatsion finished second in the KoM classification, so mission accomplished! We didn't quite hit the ceiling of what could've been possible, but with Tesfatsion's third place in the U25 rankings and Eyob's 4th place on stage 2, we gathered at least a few points overall.
What's disappointing I guess is the complete lack of action from Ndayisenga; I suppose he was stuck as being just a little too strong to be a viable breakaway candidate while still being too weak to compete for the GC, which is rather unfortunate in his one race where he was supposed to be our captain. But still, it was at the very least an entertaining race, not least thanks to the great reports.
Congrats Eden on the GC win and Ollfardh on another really good Oomen performance. Happy to see Aular on the podium, too, always rooting for the Chickens.

As expected, way too tough field for us here, but glad to bring home some minor GC-placements points home.
Thank you so much Kandensbunzler for your great reports! Always nice to have some montainious racing in Andorra
Congrats to Eden for a well deserved win! |

Fuck that was close! Lucky there were no gaps given at the end there with the bonus seconds or Oomen could have snatched that. He did really well to fight his way back after a mediocre start to almost taking the GC in the end - good performance for him.
So happy with Yates’ performance, absolutely exceeding expectations agains. Im not sure if it’s his energy stats, acceleration, dumb luck or a combo, but he has been absolutely fantastic for us all season long. He might even manage to outscore Dunbar this season with the way he is going which would be crazy. Two stage wins and the points jersey is just the icing on the cake really, so happy with the performance!
Thank you for the reports also KB, much appreciated!

Thanks for the report KB! It seems like I brought completely the wrong team for this one. Will have to take that into account for next season. Yates seemed unbeatable, so compliments to Indosat Ooredoo! |
