Stage 3/8:
Squad: Casper, Vogondy, Lequatre, Sinner, Rinero, Berges, Ista and Jalabert
Simmed this stage because just after I finished it, it crashed. Luckily Cya was kind. When I raced it myself I ended 5th with Vogondy, and when I simmed it Casper ended 5th. Zabel won for the 2nd time in a row

Stage 4/8:
The first mountain stage, lots of small climbs while the final climb will probably make the difference today. In the early break we send Rinero because its his task to take over Renaud Dion's polka dot jersey. Dion has 17 points while Rinero only has 4 and so he has some climbing to do!
Rinero in front of Zielinski, Crosbie, Isasi and Vaugrenard
Rinero grabs some points, and then some more and once they are caught on the final climb he has a total of 20 points and so Rinero is now the new wearer of the polka dot jersey! On the final climb while our team celebrates this small victory the big guys come forward
The Little Prince, Cunego, has the strongest acceleration it seems!
And so Cunego enters the downhill section with a small 30 second lead, and its him against the rest now...and unfortunately for Damiano its Schumacher who leads the chasing group and the German is determined not to lose his jersey
Cunego up front but Schumacher is going after him!
And its only a matter of time before Schumacher gets to him
Schumacher leaves Cunego behind but there comes good ol' George Hincapie!
Hincapie reaches Schumacher and it comes down to a sprint, will Germany be victorious again?
Thats the 4th German victory as Schumacher wins and strengthens his lead!

hehe, well atleast we now know how he manages to do so well, if I manage to get in touch with addy again I'll ask him whether he can remove the dopers from their teams at the date they were caught in real life, so Sella out after the Giro, Kohl, Schumacher at the end of the season
Stage 5/8:
Squad: Casper, Vogondy, Lequatre, Sinner, Rinero, Berges, Ista and Jalabert
The stage to Mont Ventoux, we know that our chances of winning today are slim but we do hope that a Frenchman will be victorious today cause we and all of the other Frenchies are fed up with the Germs winning all the stages thus far. In the break of the day Rinero is present, the veteran is defending his polka dot jersey today!
Rinero leads the break, he earns some more points and now has 28 points!
The break still has a 3 minute lead when they go up Mont Ventoux, Rinero is not the best climber and because he has waisted energy trying to grab all the points for the KOM classification he has to let go after 1 km already. After a while only 3 are left over
Seeldraeyers, Carlstrom and Charteau up front on Mont Ventoux!
Seeldraeyers is the best climber here and so 2 kms later he leaves Carlstrom and Charteau behind
Seeldraeyers decides to go solo!
The brave Belgian looks to hold on at first but then with 2,5 kms to go he is caught by a group of 12 which features most of the favourites excluding the leader Schumacher!
Seeldraeyers caught by the group led by Damiano Cunego
And again Cunego seems to be in shape as he tears the group apart, only Menchov and Andy Schleck are able to follow him!
Cunego, Menchov and Andy Schleck up front, which of them will win today?
And then we are in the final kilometer when these 3 start the waiting the game, they start looking at eachother since everyone in the back is dead...right?
Out of nowhere its Lhottelerie who sprints past them! Go Clement go for France!
And the young Frenchman, part of the wildcard team Skil is never seen back, what a performance just when the stage seemed to go to either CUnego, Menchov or Schleck the Frenchman surprises them all and takes home a win that he will never forget!
Clement Lhottelerie wins on Mont Ventoux!
Meanwhile our leader, Vogondy, hangs onto the pack for dear life and so he finishes 1 minute after Lhottelerie had passed the finishline and is now 16th in the GC which is not bad at all!

And we're back
Stage 6/8:
Squad: Casper, Vogondy, Lequatre, Sinner, Rinero, Berges, Ista and Jalabert
After the queen stage to Mont Ventoux which saw a young Frenchman win (Lhottelerie) we go back to the flat terrain and Caspers feeling good! But first we have the break which only consists of 2 riders, 2 riders that who are both no threat to Rinero's polka dot jersey.
Fabian Wegmann and Aleksandr Kuschynski
With 20 kms to go they still hold a lead of 2 minutes, with 11 kms to go it's down to 1 minute but then something happens in the pack!
Lang and Doi go down and it's the race leader, Hincapie, who goes down aswell!
But they are not the only ones involved, its a huge crash with the consequence being that a group of 70 riders remain and both Agritubel sprinters, Casper and Lequatre are not amongst them. Only Vogondy, Berges, Ista, Jalabert and Rinero managed to avoid the crash. With 5 kms to go the 2 man break is caught and in a sprint of about 70 riders and with a lot of sprinters missing, Zabel just comes up short for the win today
It's Rojas in front of Zabel and Van Avermaet!

Stage 7/8:
Squad: Casper (+), Vogondy, Lequatre, Sinner (+), Rinero, Berges, Ista and Jalabert (+)
As we head towards the end of this years Paris Nice we have 2 more difficult stages on the menu before we know this years winner. Yesterday it was Hincapie who lost his jersey surprisingly because of crash which means that Pereiro is now in the lead but many people are especially curious about what Lhottelerie will do tommorow, he is 4 seconds behind and had an outstanding win on the stage to Mont Ventoux. For Agritubel this stage is also important, it's Rinero chance to secure the Polka dot jersey. He is in a break with 6 others and at the first 4 KOM points it's Augé who sneaks away with the max. points everytime. But then Augé appears to have overestimated himself and it's Rinero who seals the deal by taking the points on the other climbs.
Rinero secures the polka dot jersey!
Since Augé has then lost contact with the break its down to 6, Aramendia, Sénac, Stamsnijder, Hoste, Breschel and Rinero. On the climbs they stay together but just after the last climb it are Rinero and the young Basque Aramendia who have to let go, Rinero obviously waisted too much energy and has to pay for it. None of these guys are a threat to the GC guys and looking at their lead (5 minutes with 25 kms to go) it seems like one of these will actually win today!
It's down to 4, Sénac in front of Breschel, Stamsnijder and Hoste
Breschel wants it all to come down to a sprint and so he's mainly looking at Hoste who is probably strong enough to attack and go all the way, Sénac who is the rookie in the group tries it a few times but is hauled back by Breschel and Hoste time after time. While the waiting game continues up front some favs attack in the back
While Aramendia gets caught it are Vogondy, Chavanel, Hincapie and Lhottelerie who are attacking!
But the French directors forget about whats happening up front, while everyone was expecting Hoste to attack it's Stamsnijder who gives it a go and he has a nice gap!
Stamsnijder on his way to a huge win?
The young Frenchman Sénac is worn down and since Hoste doesn't want to chase for the sprinter it's down to Breschel who has to chase him down but even though the Dane gets closer he doesnt catch him and so Hoste in a desperate attempt tries to get him back, Hoste is going strong and it seems like he may have been the strongest one today but...
It's Tom Stamsnijder who wins the stage!
