Hi,
I am just curious to know what is the difference between steam version of expansion pack and normal version? Which should I use? What are the pros and cons?

I've noticed that the Bahrain Victorious white TDF jersey is used in all the races, not just the TDF. |

This is not something I am able to reproduce... Also the files seem to be correct. Is this in career, single race mode or both?

That actually seems to be an oversight on our part, we didn't have that in our race list. We'll add it in the next update!
First of all thanks for your great work !
There are also several missing/cancelled/wrong dated races across the calendar.
Do you need me to write down those I found ?
I would like to hear which ones have wrong dates or are cancelled, since I've gone over all races and dates at the start of the season. We are aware of some missing races though
I found a couple of wrong dates:
- GP de Denain should be moved from 17.03 to 16.03.
- Circuit Franco Belge should be changed to 28.09.
- Tour of Hainan should be moved from march to october.
- Tour of IRAN (Azarbaijan) should move from june to 27-31 august.
- Tour de l'Ain should be moved to 31.july - 02.august.
- Tour of Leuven should be moved to 15.august.
- Turul Romaniei should be arranged in october.

There isn't a difference in terms of content or functionality. It's just a different way of installing the database. The Workshop is simpler for some, as the download automatically puts the files in the right folders (with one small additional thing you have to do yourself), minimizing the possibility of something going wrong in the installation. Also, updates to the database are easier throught the Workshop. You don't have to remember to check for updates and download them manually, and sometimes small bug fixes come quicker there because the process is easier on our side, too.
On the other hand, some people prefer the way through the website, as indicated by the still fairly high download numbers here. It's a lot of files that take up a lot of space, and by downloading it from the website, you have more control if you only want part of the files, for instance. You also overwrite files in the main folder instead of adding everything as a secondary instance in the Workshop directory.
So, I guess it comes down to personal preference and convenience. But for content, you get the same in both locations.

Yes, once you've subscribed to a Workshop item, Steam updates it automatically.

Hi,
With the final stats update, I have a doubt. For the 2nd step of the installation instructions, do I have to paste the file at the root of Pro Cycling Manager 2023 directory ? Or in the Mod directory in place of the old cdb file ?

the steam version's last change is from June 2023? I plan to buy PCM to play via Geforce Now so I need the steam version. Is it/will it also be updated? |

Are you looking at the correct Steam link? Looks like you are looking at the one for PCM 22 instead of 23, which has its last change on 28th of October.

you are right, I was looking at the wrong PCM Version 
Since I won't be able to move files when using cloud gaming, I will need to skip the part with the additional three folders. As I understand, it's not mod-breaking if I don't move those files in the directory? |

Only the helmets not appearing are somewhat game-breaking, but you could find the folder within the additional files and copy them to the workshop folder. The other files need to be in the main folder of PCM but are not mandatory

Hi,
I noticed that in PCM 24 DB there is some bug with helmets not showing correctly. Can it be fixed somehow? I installed steam version of the DB.

Hello,
Have you done the 3rd step of the installation ?
"3. When the download has been completed, go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\2063610\3110855076
(or whatever the equivalent on your PC is if you did not install in the default directory)
You'll find a folder called ADDITIONAL FILES.
Inside are the folders 3D and Database. Move them to the game's Steam directory (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2023) and overwrite any files necessary. This activates our regen names, the correct names for UCI World Tour etc. as well as additional equipment. Note that there are backup files for the local.cdb if you ever want to change it back to the original one."

Yes I did. I just double checked it and I have no files in additional files folder as I moved them to the main game directory.
Actually its not like I do not see any helmets at all, but they are "flashing" sometimes during the 3D race. Has anybody reported this already? I am aware that my brother has the same problem.

Is there somebody who can answer that question (cyclists withou helmets) please? I have steam workshop installed and its happening sometimes during the race that one or two cyclists do not have helmets for 2-3 seconds.

I had the same problem and if I remember correctly you have to go into game options and graphics and disable both "realistic rays of sun" and set "shadows" to none
