We have hardly scored any points this race, and unless we bite our teeth together on the final stage it is likely going to stay this way. A lot of riders witin a cushion where a succesful move could put them in contention of a top 10 though.
Fingers crossed that chaos can be in our favour.

Unacceptable stage result here, how Rowe managed to be that far down is a mystery. At least we get two riders in stage points scoring spots and we got the KoM retained for another day, hoping to see a duo of Potocki and Hermans in the break tomorrow.
Congrats to SN on an expected win for Van der Lijke! and thanks for the report Ulrich!

Well after a disappointing race Areruya came back very well on that stage, a stage win and 4th on GC is a solid effort overall especially with the guys on the podium having a better HI or MO stat it's understandable even if we may have dreamt bigger. Congrats knockout on the repeat win and thanks for great reports Ulrich

Well Potocki didn't make the break but it doesn't matter as Hermans defended his jersey to perfection and snapping up a dominant KoM win in the end!
Also massive congrats to jandal on his Areruya training paying off and to knockout on the GC win for Lopez!
Thanks for the reports Ulrich!

Beltran's best race of the season! Nothing sweeter than achieving the sponsor goal at home
I was pretty worried at the very end there. He looked to be going so well then just ran out of gas. Luckily he held on to 5th overall, which was exactly what we needed
One of the rare races this season where the team as a whole was abysmal, although as I've said before, for whatever reason I didn't bring some riders here. Beltran stepped up and despite the last two hill stages not going too well, he scored a good amount of points. The good start was crucial and he spent the entire race 2nd-3rd so bonus scoring there. Even finished 2nd in points somehow
Thanks for the reports Ulrich and congrats to knockout
MAL winning this race could become a tradition

It sucks to see De Bie fail like this, but atleast he died with his boots on. Our riders just died...
Horrible race for us. We wanted to attack this final stage to see what we could do, rather than that all our riders just dropped, so the GC became even worse. Also moving from 3rd to 5th in the Team GC, and this race will go down as the worst of the entire season outside the cobbles. Not really ideal in the fight for top 10.

Brillant ride by Areruya! Great to see Lopez win the overall and Sicard pushing it well for Strava. I'm also very surprised how good Sagan was on sich a stage, he still got the juice surely.

Huge huge victory for us. We needed this for many reasons: After decisively failing our top 10 goal in LBL and since we will fail our ranking goal, we needed to get this win goal for next season's budget and a dominant win like this gives us the needed gap to the relegation spots. This should give us security that we will indeed continue in PT for next season as the gap is now large enough and October strong enough that we shouldnt have to worry anymore.
Thanks for all the congrats and thanks for the reports

Heartbreak for De Bie, really hoped he would get it to make up for another disappointing race for him. Areruya of course also a lovely stage winner. A shame nobody went in the break for us, but wouldn't have accounted to anything anyway.
One fourth place on a stage is better than what we expected before coming into the race, so we'll gladly take it. Happy so see knockout having a good race as well, and nice to see Cedevita confirming their promotion with a top-5 and sponsor goal accomplished.
Superb reports as always, Ulrich. Thank you very much.

Kraftwerk are indeed happy, two in the top 10 GC and winning Teams is better than I had hoped.
Thanks for the great reports UU and congrats to knockout and all the other winners.
