Incredibly important for our season and Silvio's tour prep that he takes the win here!
A second successful sponsor goal and great points towards our push into the Top 10 and hopefully further after a smart ride on the queen stage.
Some depth points from a good team effort, a few from the U25s even, and a shared KoM win add to the nice haul here.
I'm really happy for our friends at Bralirwa and Madrazo personally to see him put up a valiant fight against the new generation of top climbers for possibly the last time.
Truly one of the all-time greats, particularly for me as he rose to the top when I got started.
This sadly came at the expense of Phinney, who surely would've deserved more here. Looks like he got boxed in during the crucial moments of the climb, and couldn't make up for that anymore with such a short dash to the line.
It's also been nice to see a good spread among the sprint favorites, overall a fun race. Thanks Ulrich for your detailed reports!

Safely through the last stage means we that 10th place in the GC for Penasa Shame that Minali was not in the mix on the final stage and drops in the Points standings, but he still did well to get 6th. Add in more minor points by Eenkhoorn and elsewhere and we come away with a good haul here.
Congrats to cio and thanks for the reports Ulrich

Novak with a sprint that steals 6th place, very happy with his performance here!
Congratulation to Cio for the GC and my boy Gaviria for the stage. Thank you very much for another set of excellent reports Double U!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

A decent sprint from Van Poppel. Too bad he didn't get any podiums from 3 sprinting opportunities.
Not sure how to feel about Formolo being 12th in the GC. It should have been higher given how strong he looked in the mountain stage, but what are you gonna do.
Thanks for the reports!

Assuming Vesely fell foul to the #4 bug, which is out of our control, Cattaneo delivered a very good and smart performance by taking the bonus seconds. Good points haul for a PTHC race.
Thanks for the reports UU and congrats cio!

Appreciate it! These are the moments we brought Madrazo in for. After a rocky start, these are hugely important points to remain in the promotion battle, but also just great scenes to watch/read. To be able to compete at this level is amazing, in still only our third season. Only two races left for Angel this year, let's hope he continues on this trajectory.
Thanks UU for the great reports! Congrats cio and everyone else who was successful here.

Zabel's third in points was a welcome surprise as none of Kraftwerk's GC contenders did anything.
Congrats to cio and thanks for the great reports UU.

Nairo was a disappointment here, but Ahlstrand was at the top of his game. A stage win and the green jersey are great results for us and I am really happy with those achievements. Also, Marin as a lead-out work is absolutely impressive this season. I am thinking already of awarding him with the team's rider of the year award.
Congratulations, cio, and thank you very much for the reports, Ulrich!
