for anyone who betted on Bettini: he crashed badly, breaking his helmet. too bad for his last race. |

Also, considering all the confusion with the Munich 6-Day, there wont be a bet put up for it. Theres still contrasting sources over who is and who isnt riding. |

Ok.
I'll put my hands up and say I know very little about track.
Can anyone tell me how Bettini and Llaneras manage to win the overall in Milan?
He must have lost points/laps etc due to the crash. |

The race was inmediately stopped after Roberts and Bettini fell. |

Well, velodromes like Milan's are not so wide to allow riders just keep going, plus I think that's the rule to follow in all 6-Day competitions. See...
... well, I posted a video of a friend from some days ago, but it doesn't work anymore. Anyway. the velodrome had too short straights, and was steering and steering all the way.

Rules for 6 days state that if a rider sustains a crash and it is serious that the rider can take a day out of competition and return to racing the day after if they wish. They will still have the same amount of points before the crash. This is what i heard for bettini. And there was nothing wrong with that track. it was checked over by the UCI and receved all the right things for a 6 day to coninue. |

Yes, I wasn't saying there was anything wrong with the velodrome. I was just noting that there was a strong chance to cause a mass fall if the race wasn't stopped inmediately, since it was really short and limited when it comes to the straights. |

I reckoned Kenny would win at least one of the things, so bet on him in the Sprint and the Keirin |
