That's impossible I think, cause I used hannes converter and you can't delete things from db with that tool. But I tried to import the db with Full Editor and then deleted all things except DYN_cyclist, STA_race and STA_stage. But when I do that the Startlist Tool gives me an error. |

Take a standard DB, e.g. the original one. Then copy DYN_cyclist, STA_race and STA_stage from the Daily DB to the standard one. Export it and use it to make startlists. |

I don't have the original db. I will first try with the original PCM Daily DB v2.1. I read in this thread somebody succeeded using that one. |

I now have the races, but when I try to make a tour de france startlist from the web, there are no cyclists found. Everything is empty... 
Edit: teams are all (except for one that was mentioned as "Others" ) ok.

I did import from web, I edited 1 team, that works. But I did all !180! cyclists of the Tour de France and now all cyclists are Jens Voigt because that was the latest cyclist I entered.
More than 2 hours work for NOTHING!

I now did it through the manual way and that worked perfect. 
So for the web feature: I think it really sucks (it only worked for teams and then gave me 2 hours of useless work )
For the manual function: PERFECT 
So thanks for this program!
p.s. Why are all cyclist Jens Voigt, except for 1. There were 179 Jens Voigts and 1 other (don't know the name). I think that's quiet strange... |

I have now these two files:
- Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2008\CustomTour\V4TDF.xml
It's a custom TdF
- Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2008\Import\StartLists\V4TDF.xml
That's the startlist I've made
When I go to Single Player -> Stage Race -> Real -> V4 Tour de France (the custom TdF) -> Select all races -> Next,
there are not the teams from the startlist...
What did I do wrong? |

You also need to put the startlist in Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2008\Import\ |

The reason the automatic matching doesn't work is cause cyclingstartlists.com keeps changing the layout and underlying html wich the tool relies on to parse the names/teams correctly. You could try and fiddle with the parameters in the options menu if you have some basic html knowledge, otherwise, it's better and generally faster to use the manual method. |

When I try to open the program by clicking on 'setup', it starts to reinstall itself. The same happens when I click on PCM4 Startlist tool installer etc. I thus have no way of opening it. What am I doing wrong? |

So atm there are no tools for making startlists or what? |
