Since I know all of you are so interested in American Polotics maye we should hold an election... A PCM election... I (being a tax paying member of society yet unable to vote until 18) happen to like none of the current candidates... then Stephen Colbert of comedy Central anounced his candidacy. I am all for him even though it may be a joke.

Here he is in his satirical show, The Colbert Report

I honestly don't care who wins - as long as it's not a neo-conservative / republican |

Seems like there's going to be an election in Denmark soon. According to the media, the date will be announced today. |

Many.
Left-wing: Enhedslisten, Socialistisk Folkeparti
Right-wing: Venstre, Det Konservative Folkeparti, Dansk Folkeparti, Ny Alliance
Middle: Det Radikale Venstre (tends to cooperate with the left-wing), Socialdemokratiet (Socialdemokratiet wants to be a left-wing party, but on the other hand, they have realized they will never "win" if they don't give some bonusses to the rich people )
Plus a lot of other smaller parties which are not in the Folketing, the "house of representatives".
Edit: I forgot the 2nd largest party

"Socialistische Volkspartei" -- probably something like that in German Except the spelling, though.
It's a typical social party which next to the social initiatives also has a green profile. |

We don't have socialist party after the KPD was banned in 1933
our most left party is the PDS which evolved from the SED in the DDR.

What election system do you have? In England and USA, only 2 parties have a chance because of the election system. In germany we have a different election system, where smaller parties also have a small chance. But even here we only have 2 parties with a real chance of winning

In England, any party has a chance of winning - its not like America
Although only 2 parties are ever going to win

So, our smart (but sociopathecally heartless) prime minister has announced 13th of November to be the date for the Danish election. Not time for a real vote battle, so I think the odds are on him and the blue block once more. Grrr... |
