It went as I was expecting it. I am glad this stage is over.
Congratulations, LLS! Thank you, Nemolito, for the report! |

Bloody hell, carnage for Glanbia on Stage 4. Can only hope to get back into top 10 and maybe Brandt and Craddock fight for a stage.
Nice report

Well that’s one way to ensure a smooth handover of the GC lead from Paez to Mas! A brilliant individual effort from the young Spaniard who narrowly holds on but takes his first stage win as a Pro and a relatively slender lead over Iino.
I am now hoping that Paez and Borisavljevic turn their attention to supporting Mas in the final stages which they should do.
Thank you for the great report as well!

Wow love that mountain Ai, putting 5 of our riders in the break lol Nice result by Azman and Moschella but could have been better if they had scored more KoM points. Thanks for the great report and gratz to Mas and Aramco.

Not a great day for Kuss. We couldn't pull off the breakaway like in Tachira but was hoping it would make for a hard race which should be in Kuss' favor. But he didn't have it and lost time to riders he should beat. Hopefully he will make up for it with a big day on the last stage, over 3 minutes behind, so he might have some freedom.
Still not a bad day overall - McNulty hung on to take a solid lead in white. The ride of the day from Gage Hecht who finished with Kuss and beat his far more heralded teammate McNulty. McCormick with 1st, 3rd and 4th in white, not sure we can hold that but nice while it lasts.
Mas earning the leader's jersey with a brave ride. Congrats to LLS.

Schultz had a pretty good day! His mountain stay just isn’t good enough to compete (that’ll change next season!) he is still competing well!
Schlock dropping but still good to see him in my jersey! I’m sure he will have his day soon! Another mountain day in 2 stages. Moving on to the hill stage. Let’s go Schultz!

I would have loved the stage win, but this is excellent nonetheless. Amador showed good legs and stuck to the front until the end, as we hoped he could do for our team. Our riders showed unity and worked together for the result, with Brenes on a nice attack move trying to disrupt the race. 4th in the GC covers our objective for Volta and hopefully we can keep that until the end or challenge the 3rd place. It remains to be seen.
There's no point on dwelling on the past, but I still feel a pang of regret because we didn't show the same form on the mountains of Tachira. Well, moving on, moving on.
Congrats, LLS, again! And thanks for the report, Nemolito! |

Very exciting for us to be involved up in the breaks, at least before the last action unfolded. Hopefully we can continue like this
Thank you once again Nemolito! |

I really like how the AI played out there!
Paez showing his strength and sticking with the likes of Chaves in the earlier attacks knowing Mas was in a strong position. Mas himself not supporting at all in the chase which is also positive from an AI perspective.
In the end congrats to Volcanica as Chaves timed his late push well. If Paez has gone earlier he would have been a shout for the stage win but his job was to protect Mas and he did so perfectly while still finishing 2nd on the stage! Mas himself with a great burst at the end to finish 4th.
Going to be a tough final stage though and I’m going to need my team to look after and to protect Mas and his still relatively slender lead. Amador definitely the biggest threat in my eyes but he’s got quite some time to make up.
Thanks again for an amazing report!!

At this moment our main objective is protecting our Top 5 spot in GC. Given that stat wise Kozhatayev is similar to Mas (though with worse Sprinting), I think it'd be achieveable. Podium would be a bit tricky and depends on events aligning perfectly.
Congrats to DarkWolf - finally something to celebrate about
And again, nice report from Nemolito - at least Kozhatayev and Barta were with the leading group this time

Thank you! It cannot be all dark and gloomy.
Chaves' aggressive riding pays off and I am thrilled about it. I am also happy he didn't pull an Alaphilippe style celebration.
In the last stage hopefully Amador would make a push for the 3rd place in the GC. However, with a top 10 objective for this race 4th is not a bad place to be. Therefore if he keeps his top 5 position I am more than happy with the result. I am hoping Matteo Jorgenson can keep his 8th position in the U25 classification and the team 3rd place in the Teams Classification for some additional minor points.
Thank you for the report, Nemolito! |

Wow surprise victory by Iino, hurtful for Aramco.
Palini with a great show, unfortunately narrowly missing the kom win against this super strong craddock but can't be unhappy with some free points there. Azman faltered sadly.

Bust my buffers - didn't see that comming. I've thought Mas had this in the bag - didn't expect to drop that much.
Very quiet final stage and we've actually achieved one of our goals for the season - finish in the Top 5. Which is quite interesting. Shame that the gap between McNulty and Barta was too big before the stage though.
Congrats to MacC for the stage win, TinxiaS for the GC win and to Nemolito for the reports

In all seriousness, very disappointing to lose out there as the AI seems to have let me down big time. Mas with much better recovery stats than his rivals so not too chuffed about him losing the time. Borisavljevic also appears to have not provided much support at all which, given he’s at the Iino level, isn’t great to see either.
But still congrats where it’s due! Interesting results in the Mountains in Tachira and now here so we’ll see how that develops throughout the season.
Still a great points haul for us with 2nd in the GC, Points Classification Win, 2nd in the Teams, 2 stage wins and a couple Top 5 stages so I can’t complain too much
Thank you also for the great and detailed reports!! Keep up the great work

OMG
I have no idea what to say. Our expectations were really low compare to our races from the last season. I know we have a much better climber now but still.
What MyEvoy did in the first stage it's amazing. He has been selected for this and the fifth stage. As we didn't have big expectations we thought that this will be the most points probably we will get in this race.
Special the second place in TTT it was a miracle and what Ilno did it's just unbelievable amazing.
I'm just speechless.
I think Tomoyuki Iino has been in Tweety mode for the last week ;P
Congrats to others for stage wins and Nemo for preview and reports.

Queitly another great performance from Potocki, but holy moly De Vos seems to be a boss in PCM21, first Castelo and then this performance today. Really happy with the performance overall from the guys 4 people in the top 12, plus another team's classification.
Thanks for a bunch of great reports, really enjoyed racing AI as well.
