It’s nice to see that Von Hoff can still challenge for stages this season here even after his decline. He’s done very well so far this tour as has Garby keeping out of trouble. Good overall stage for the team! Great podium from Steele

Brandt doing exactly what he is kept around for. Worrying about Ford and Frame. They could play a role in leadout as well as making an impact in the Time Trial but it seems even if they make it they will be exhausted.
Hoping Bennett can snatch a stage over next few days and Brandt can stay around top 15 he's a good time trialer which hopefully will give him a bit of a cushion

Great ride by Kuss, sticking in the wheels and grinding it out. Long steady climbs are pretty much perfect for his skill sets and his recovery is only ok and his TT is poor so I think 4th is the peak of his ambitions but good to put decent time into a lot of other top 10 rivals.

Awesome opening week for Kraftwerk. Massive investment on their end with but it seems to be paying off so far. I think it's fair to say that the other big winner after first week is Penasa, who seems to be the strongest GC contender by far here. Also pretty big performance by level 1 McNulty on the opening stages with KoM contention but I doubt he will be a big factor in the coming two weeks.

Congrats to Atlantius - Penasa looks like the strongest GC rider. Nerz looks good for a podium, could the strength of the team make up the difference?
Great effort from the team who managed to isolate and distance the competition. Kraftwerk extend their lead in the Team competition.
Surprised the Kraftwerk climbers were dropped early, hope they come good later.
Back to the sprinter chase tomorrow.

About as good as I could expect. Abal showing great fight in what could realistic be his last change to put up a noteworthy result in his career. Fraile doing his best to finish high up in the GC as well.

Haller timing his sprint to perfection to better his 2018 stage wins total. He was denied the Points jersey in 2018 but looks very good for it this year. Sorry to be so boring, last year Haller could barely break into the top 10, very surprised by this dominance.
Big climb up Mount Washington tomorrow, Kiserlovski working for Haller again today might leave Nerz exposed ...

Awesome ride by Kiserlovski, Penasa too strong to crack and he gains a few more seconds on Nerz who will need some very good TT to get significant time back.
Good to see Haller paying back the support he has got by riding on the front.
Kraftwerk extend their lead in the Team with a great ride from Kiserlovski and top 20 from Maillet.
Lumpy stage with a shorter mountain top finish tomorrow, could be one for the break? Can Nerz finally turn the tables on Penasa?

More fine stuff from Kuss on another stage perfectly suited to him. 3 minute lead over 5th is nice to have and think he will need it as his lack of team support might catch up to him at some point.
Think McNulty needs to conserve his energy for a break that can go to the finish now, KOM not being realistic.
Top two are untouchable. Congrats to Penasa

Way better stage from Garby!! Definitely a top 5 climber here. There will be HUGE time gaps in the overall thats for sure! Garby just needs to race how he did today and hopefully he can achieve a high overall finish!
The top 2 though  Untouchable!!!

Atapuma with a weak performance, loosing a lots of minutes, but still only going from 5th to 6th in GC.
I guess 1st and 2nd, along with 3rd and 4th already is settled, but it's going to be a very tight fight for the 5th place.
