2021 review
After our early successes, it unfortuntaly stopped there. Despite another GC win at the Benelux Challenge and two stage wins at the Tour of America, we finished even worse than last year.
Furthermore, once again our wages have gone up, meaning we have to say goodbye to one of our riders. Most likely to leave is Kenneth Vanbilsen. Teams interested in a 80COB/80STA/78FLA rider should get in touch.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Transfer season
After a tough transfer season, we managed to improve the team a little bit. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to Kenneth Vanbilsen, who was with us from our first year in Pro Continental Tour. He gave us nice wins in Gent-Wevelgem and Roma Maxima twice. We wish him all the best in his new team.
Replacing him is young Dutch rider Max Kroonen, who will get a season to develop and prove himself. Vanbilsen's replacement as leader for the cobbled races is Patrick Gamper, who continued to develop and is ready for something bigger.
We also trained Domen Novak to be an even better climber while also working on the sprinting of our climbers (yes, you read that right). Furthermore, many of our young riders worked hard to become even better this season. Somehow, we feel the team is stronger than last year.

Winning big!
The season started well for our new main sprinter Jakub Mareczko (other sprinters shall not be named). With two victories in Tachira and Pologne, he gave us some stage wins we needed to get the train going.
The team was also quite successful in the Tirreno and the Giro, which unfortunately did not give any points. Only Domen Novak managed another win in Pais Vasco, although it was overall less of a succes than the year before.
But then came Patrick Gamper. He was just made for the Chrono d'Arenberg, but still as the top favourite he had to win it. And he sure did, crushing the opposition in what is our first ever PTHC win!
His performance inspired Sam Oomen in Austria, winning the first stage and never losing the leaders jersey. With that performance, we should come close to promotion this year, although some other riders really dropped the ball so far which will make this very difficult.

I'm also interested to see if these big results get you in the promotion race

2022 review
After a good first half of the season, we once again could not finish in the promotion spots. Unlike other season, we actually had some really nice results this year, but unfortunately they were often in races where we could not earn points. Tirreno, Giro, Scandinavia and Northern Europe really gave us some mixed feelings.
After that we had another good run in l'Avenir and some new NC jerseys, more on those later.
Going into the transfer season, we had to say goodbye to team legend Louis Verhelst. Known for his awesome 2015 Benelux challenge and excellent domestique duties on the cobbles, age finally caught up to him and we lose the penultimate rider of our original squad. We wish him all the best!
We also decided not to extend Max Kroonen's contract. Everyone else got a contract extension, but a certain rider has been told we finally had enough of his random performances and he'll be sold or traded in the offseason.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Wow, Louis Verhelst is yet another rider that has been around a team for ages that got released in renewals this year. Interested in what you're thinking for transfers to try and put together the promotion run!

Some very interesting riders on that Maybe list. Bonifazio will find a way to keep riding in your colors. I'm sure of it

Jandal - Yeah he's been around since the start of the team. Has always been a useful rider as well, but his time has run out unfortunately.
SotD - No. NO!

It won't be the same writing reports about Lierse without being able to comment on Bonifazio's idiosyncrasies. But understand why you might want to move on. The question is who is brave enough to try and decipher him.

Would be oddly sad to see Bonfazio farewell your team despite his results, always wondered what kept him back. A new game version might make a difference, who knows?

I think we should all agree that Bonifazio is much happier staying at Lierse, and therefore no other manager should attempt to break up such a loving long-term relationship.

How could you do this to Bonifazio, he's been nothing but loyal to your team

UU - He has all the right stats to be a star, but it isn't working with out team. I can't believe there will be no interest.
Cunego - There is a lot of faith in Gamper though
Eden - I told that to myself before, but I gave him enough credit already
TMM - Shut up
WJ - Loyaly staying with the rest of the team around 160th place in a mass sprint, yes

Some very interesting yesses and maybe's. With so many (possibly) available I wonder what other leaders you're thinking of signing. Of course, in the end, Bonifazio on pcm22 might be the big gun you've been looking for all along

Jaxika - He even had some decent results for you iirc?
Nemo - At this point, I feel half the PCT is trying to gaslight me into believing he's actually a good rider
SotD - If I had the wage cap, maybe. But I need to make some room.
