Nice Lutsenko win; congrats.
Ginanni lost more than 6 minutes...he got beaten by Hofland and Geoghegan Hart ffs. Seems like Furdi and Tratnik stayed with him to help. If not they had a bad day as well.
Only positive note is that Konrad did amazing, losing just 24 seconds to the big guns.
Hope this frees guys like Furdi and Tratnik to go in the break instead of Potts.
And great report!

Calmejane, I love you, come on, you can do it! Already got more points then we could dream of. Thank you Ulrich for your high quality reports! |

Looks like it's gonna be a lot tougher to get rid of Waeytens, Calmejane and Schreurs
I had this stage earmarked as one where Beltran could make a difference. 2nd place on the stage is a decent result, but without any notable time gaps is still dissapointing
Hopefully the stronger teams (looking at you PT ) can put more pressure on and make this a harder race. The threat of breakaways winning too many stages still seems quite likely.

Schreurs showing signs of weakness on the last climb, but glad he didn't lose more time. Not happy with the stage result, but good to still have an advantage on the strongest riders.
Nice to see Daniel in the break two stages in a row. Impressed that he managed to stay there for so long on a tough stage.

So Bobridge is working for Smith, who won't stand a chance for the higher GC positions? That's even worse than I expected it to be. Not sure, why they worked at the front of the pack anyway. Well.. Breakaways now, please.

As elsewhere we seem to be unable to potentiate the team's strength. Instead every rider seems to be riding for himself unfortunately.
Thrilling final sprint with a prevailing deserving winner in Lutsenko. Congrats Bikex!

Was refreshing to see one of our riders actually join a break and challenge for KOM, so props to Le Gac on Stage 3 for that. Too bad Kelderman couldn't make his move stick.
Decent sprint from Palini to grab 4th on stage 4.
These are still only small rewards and we need bigger results urgently.

This was as good as we could have done on stage 4. Another 2nd place is some nice scoring. It also gives Beltran now a real shot at a high place in the points jersey classification, and who knows hopefully those bonus seconds will make a difference in the final GC.
Double Balcan win with Isostar winning the stage

Nope, still not buying it. That stage 6 mountain is too long for him and stage 8 is also too much climbing. Wouldn't even be surprised if he loses the jersey tomorrow already.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Good to see Schreurs constantly near the front. Shame the sprinters didn’t get involved today, as I think the finish would have suited Kreder.

This race isnt going particularly great nor particularly bad. The break on S1 hurts a lot and Skujins GC situation would look so much better without it. On the other hand, the Evonik attempt on stage 3 with multiple guys in the break looked like a good attempt. With multiple guys having picked up KoM points already, i sure hope to see attempts to go for polkadots on the remaining stages...

Coming online after a weekend off just to read some historically bad performances by my team...
Being 3 star favourite on all 4 stages and best result was a 28th and being more than 4min down in the GC with more than 2min on the main rivals and not participating in the one sprint stage where Vesely should fight for the win...
Pre season I planned to fight for the win here with a strong team, seeing the startlist already made me go lower as many teams did so. But now it`s basically just to try and grab a stage win to get small points at least... |

Some decent days for Kinoshita here, but also kind of quiet as well. Atleast he's riding better than some riders on other teams, who are quite disappointing. Can't complain too much compared to them.

Bad day for Beltran it seems, couldn't follow any of the attacks which is not like him
Still 5th on GC, but getting overtaken by Hagen and Sagan is not a good sign.

No idea really...
Once again being beaten by the likes of Waeytens, Calmejane, Denz when once again being 3* favourite while Zardini and others also are pretty crap here.
Had expected to be higher than 22nd, 46th, 50th by now with that team. |
