How come that teams are far over their salary cap at the beginning of the season? With other databases it is still possible to sign some free riders. |

Nothing to do with the database I think...
The game looks the teams quality and calculates the money available. |

i like the idea that the races unfold much more realistically with this db. but knowing that future riders (because of out of balance potentials) will dominate current tour riders bothers me. where would i go to change the potential of "game created" riders?

right. it is fixed. any suggestions on career budgets? starting with silence lotto and being 200k in the hole isn't a good way to go... |

yeah it's a problem i know about ... it's because the game doesn'toffer any chance to change budget exept for changing it within a savegame |

ok.
i tried that, i edited the 3 starting values up. That didn't fix it. So I moved the BSM budget to 65% of the total budget (which is the standard the game uses), but it doubled my debt!!
how do i edit it within the savegame? |

open the savegame with the editior ... under dyn_team i think you can now change the budget |

it worked just fine. not sure what i screwed up the first time through. oh well.
seriously, great work on the db. by far my favorie. i'm going to sim through a season and see how it unfolds. then i may start a career, edit the budgets for all the teams and go from there. |

added two new rows in frames in which you can select all frames without needing to go down the bar and have trouble selecting things |
