Because Contador is the best climber in the world. But Sastre isn't that bad compared with him.
but such an enormous difference to Leipheimer, Levi, Horner, etc?
(I could sit here and debate about half the individual stats, but I'll just ask my main point of interest )

Leipheimer haven't proved much this year. About Horner, I am thinking of increasing his MO stat to 76-77.
But note: This isn't the final stats. |

Well, to be honest, I didn't wanted too many guys on 80 and up, and Klöden had a miserable Giro. |

Considering he had a generalised infection in his lungs, I'd say he was quite fantastic at the Giro

Okay, you win Shall I set Contador on 82, or keep his stat and set Klöden on 80? |

I was just curious about your thought process as regards the stats, don't take this as criticism

oh, I hate when a fan makes a db. The rider he is a fan of is always the best. It is better to make a realistic db to us, and so do your personal stats on Contador for you own consumption.
btw we all know Michael Rasmussen is the best mountain rider |

Michael Rasmussen? What did you say about fans?
But I think Contador will get 82 in mountain, the same as Sastre. |

that is precisely his joke. It's the same joke that about one out of every four of my posts contains and no one understands for some reason.
*sigh*

The best think is, last year M.Rasmussen cracked him on the last mountain stage. And he was the best. No doubt.
Also many say that M. Rasmussen was dopet. But I would think that more believe Contador is dopet. He comes from the old Libery Sigurus team. And was on the list in Operation Puerto. |

I don't like to discuss who was doped, and who was not. In my opinion, a rider is clean until he is caught. And Fuentes said that he had never met Contador before. |

I'm sorry, but Niki Terpstra with 70 cobbles and 73 riding?
The guy was with Boonen, Ballan, Rast and in front of Cancellara on the Muur van Geraardsbergen, the most important hill in the Tour of Flanders, he finished reasonable too but his race was better than his result suggest.
Also, he finished top 5 in the Driedaagse van de Panne and attacked in nearly all flemish classics. I think he deserves at least 74 cobbles (in my personal db he's on 75).
And a higher flat stat and attack stat, also looking back on the Tour. |

Kreuziger being only a bit better than Wegelius and Noe?
