In real life, that sounds very likely, but you have to remember that this is a Cyanide-produced game.
Cobbled stages in stage races are quite rare so most likely Cianide hasn`t given a damn about the AI in these cainds of races... maybe it`ll act like it`s a normal flat stage, maybe it`ll act like it`s a single-day classic... personaly I`m guessing the latter
(Then again, I have absolutely no idea)

The thing Im most curious about is whether riders will abandon if they are more than 20 minutes behind - as that could mean a lot of the big GC riders. Hence the reason why Paris Roubaix is the penultimate stage of the race.

im hoping for many abandons, Chavanel then has a real good chance at top 5 or so
