I just couldnt care less in that race and decided to try and drop as many riders from the peleton as possible by riding at a fast tempo. Its a miracle I even got 14th.

Finally someone with sense!!!
I'm sick of hearing "Team attack is a tactic like any other"

Is ladder even remotly close to real cycling anyway?! Equal stats! And for goodness sake its ladder, theres only one reason for it, to get ranked... |

Well, the equal stats don;t bother me, the fact that the climbing stats are given to the wrong riders, is what bothers me. How the hell can Visconti be Quick Steps best climber? At least give it to Garate then...
And what bothers me about ladder, is that not cycling fans, but gamers play it. All they care about is winning. So if that means, attacking, riding low dot, attacking, riding low dot the entire stage (because that's how this tactic really works), then they will do it!!! To win...
And if getting to 1st place in the ranking means lagging your opponents and riding the same mountain stage you like and you are good at, every fucking time, then they will do it
And that's why I refuse to play ladder. The nr 1 on the ladder is not the most allround, most complete and best Cycling Manager player. The nr 1 on the ladder is he who controls cheat tactics the best, the one who knows how to play a mountain stage mainly.
It's also the reason why the top players of the ladder failed at the PCM World championships last year against Chuck and co. Why? Because they never played anything else than mountain stages, and aren't used to the tactics required for anything other then what they know... |

and btw the only reason I only got 18 pts in the first manche was because my sprinter was losing energy even at lowest effort

I'm getting out of form, instead of in form by playing much. I played 3 eliminations today, and i went from winning, to going out (too) early (for my liking).
I guess my best prep is to not play for 2 days and then try again |

I've just beaten Isso and CT in an Elimination, which was my first online elimination win, I'm very proud at the moment.
