January Review
A hectic, yet successful January, with 11 Stage Wins, 2 National TT Championships, the New Zealand RR Championships. Plus 2nd overall in the TdU and Tour of Wellington, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall in Thailand. Fabrizio Guidi leads the continental tour though, after the Tour Down Under.
Without any european races, the team rankings has a global feel to it.

Sn has managed to find the right thread now
Total domination by the way, now to maintain such a lead. Easy

don't you find it a tad boring continuing with this total domination at normal level
(i'm not trying to make you change the level, i just wondered if it is still interesting to win when you dominate like this) |

well i'm not trying to force him to change level, i just thought it would be slightly more interesting to read and play, if the level was moved up
so i was lying yes, but it is obviously purely Sporting's decision, and i don't want to get shouted at
as Sporting said before the domination that he would definatley not change level |

Cavendish was the best sprinter in the tour, so of course he was going to win.

yes i understand that he would be complete favourite, but it was when you were getting 1-2's, 1-2-3's and 1-2-3-4's in sprint finishes, when i dislike the domination
but as i said before i am not the one playing and i am not forcing anybody to change level, because you obviously play at this level because you like it best, and that is fine |

Right, Egypt and more domination of course!
Stage 1
1 Matti Helminen THE BRITISH ALL BLACKS 8'04
2 Adrian Laidler THE BRITISH ALL BLACKS + 2
3 James Meadley JELLY BELLY CYCLING TEAM + 5
4 Tony Martin THÃœRINGER ENERGIE TEAM + 7
5 Timothy Gudsell THE BRITISH ALL BLACKS + 11
6 Dean Podgornik MAPAMAP - BANTPROFI + 13
7 Benoît Ebrard AG2R CHAMBÉRY CYCLISME FORMATION + 14
8 Sergei Koudentsov DISCOVERY CHANNEL MARCO POLO CYCLING TEAM s.t.
9 Konstantin Ponomarev MOSCOW STARS + 17
10 Mark Cavendish THE BRITISH ALL BLACKS s.t.
Stage 2
Roche gets in the break and refuses to work, until with about 20km to go the attacks start, Roche and a Pole break clear, and Roche is forced to work by himself as the lazy Pole will not work, despite not having worked at all today. These 2 would fight it out for the win and Roche had to lead it out, with only a matter of time before the Pole goes past (Roche has 54 SP, Szafraniak 58 SP).
Somehow Roche hung on! Cvendish was beaten into 4th, as Vanderbiest outsprinted him.
1 Nicolas Roche THE BRITISH ALL BLACKS 4h00'29
2 Szymon Szafraniak MAPAMAP - BANTPROFI s.t.
3 Romain Vanderbiest AG2R CHAMBÉRY CYCLISME FORMATION + 40
4 Mark Cavendish THE BRITISH ALL BLACKS s.t.
5 Mahdi Sohrabi ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY CYCLING TEAM s.t.
6 Sergei Koudentsov DISCOVERY CHANNEL MARCO POLO CYCLING TEAM s.t.
7 Florian Frohn THÃœRINGER ENERGIE TEAM s.t.
8 John Dempsey MURPHY & GUNN - NEWLYN - M.DONNELLLY - SEAN KELLY s.t.
9 Geraint Thomas THE BRITISH ALL BLACKS s.t.
10 Matti Helminen THE BRITISH ALL BLACKS s.t.
Roche has the yellow jersey by 2 seconds.

Seriously karl, I did not expect Roche to do it. He had a lower sprinting stat, his red was rising, anbd the Polish guy had sat on his wheel for over 10km.
For GC, since Egypt is pretty much flat there wont be much of a challenge. The TTT will be crucial and I have the best team for that.

Thanks.
Before I start getting more difficulty inbcrease requests, id like to point out that Cavendish' SP is 77, and Thomas' is 72. The rest of the sprinters here are 73, with one 74, and Thomas can beat them as he is in good form.
Stage 3
Everything went to plan as a sprint occured.
Cavendish won, as seen by Mattoi Helminen, who despite a SP in the 50s, managed to take 10th (He just followed Cavendish all the way )
1 Mark Cavendish THE BRITISH ALL BLACKS 3h01'06
2 Geraint Thomas THE BRITISH ALL BLACKS s.t.
3 Romain Vanderbiest AG2R CHAMBÉRY CYCLISME FORMATION s.t.
4 Sergei Koudentsov DISCOVERY CHANNEL MARCO POLO CYCLING TEAM s.t.
5 Sascha Damrow THÃœRINGER ENERGIE TEAM s.t.
6 Mattias Westling TEAM CYKELCITY.SE s.t.
7 Tim Meeusen MURPHY & GUNN - NEWLYN - M.DONNELLLY - SEAN KELLY s.t.
8 Mahdi Sohrabi ISLAMIC AZAD UNIVERSITY CYCLING TEAM s.t.
9 Alexandre Aulas AG2R CHAMBÉRY CYCLISME FORMATION s.t.
10 Matti Helminen THE BRITISH ALL BLACKS s.t.
Stage 4
TTT! Yay!!! I did the 50km version and as expecte, it crashed, so I replaced it with a stage 10km shorter.
We were overwhelming 3-star favourites and did not fail to deliver, finishing all together and nearly passing the 3rd placed team on the line!
What happened to Konica Minolta and Polygon Sweet Nice Team? Simple, they only fielded 2 riders in this tour as the rest of their team were racing elsewhere.
