Oscar Freire might be on his way out of Rabobank. According to TV2Sport he is refusing to sign the anti-doping aggrement that the Rabobank riders must sign after the Rasmussen scandal last year.
And Gert Steegmans has been given the green light to negotiate with Tinkoff. Apparently Steegmans is tired of being in Tom Boonens shadow. |

Finally Steegmans will get free reign to be the lead sprinter. He will shine at Tinkoff

he most likely wont
McEwen is very close to join tinkoff as well, then Steegmans will lead out again for McEwen.
Kenny Dehaes, a young promising sprinter from Topsport Vlaanderen, also received a good offer from Tinkoff, he will either join them or ag2r.
Tinkoff also wants Pozzato and Menchov, but Menchov extended his deal at rabo until 2010 and no news about Pozzato.
And Redant, directeur sportif of Silence-Lotto, has been offered the post of team manager of tinkoff, he is in negotiations but wants to focus now on trying to win the tour with Cadel Evans before announcing his decision. |

As MortChill mentioned, Menchov renewed his contract with Rabobank. Instead, Tinkoff now wants Cadel Evans, and it's said that they will complete their negotiations on the first rest day of the Tour.
Speaking of Tinkoff, the Russian cycling federation has confused Steegmans with Boonen, so according to them, Boonen is the one who has signed with Tinkoff |

Just read on Velo101 latest French hopeful Cyril Gautier will be moving to Bouygues Télécom at the end of the season. Great guy and a pure talent, just crowned himself as European champion a week ago... |

Rabobank should get Kohl and Schumacker(sorry cant spell his name but you know who i mean!!) two good mountain helpers and each respectivly stage winners.
