Got green B)
But I am shocked that I am the best rider of Silence-Lotto at GC and Popovych (70) and Aerts (70) haven´t overtaken me and Hoste (60) got the same time than the both Hilly riders (70) and Evans (66)
Congratulations to the stage winners , Bouygues (because of the PT Lead) and Milram (because of the 2 stage wins)
I am looking forward to Paris-Nice and I would like to see the PT Leader in his jersey (A Bouygues rider in the World Champion Jersey... ) |

Paris-Nice
Stage 1
Flat Time Trial
A short opening prologue for the Paris-Nice race. This will be an interesting opening, the best time trialist is not necessarily the favourite to win.
Warly Chegelius (Cofidis) sets the best opening time of 8'08. Alexander Rudulpho Washington Fabio Sodoma Ronaldo De Silva Minion (Milram) soon beats this time by 3 seconds, with Matt Booth (Caisse) and Simon Nyberg (Team High Road) then posting the exact same time, but not taking the lead. No, it was Max Tannenbaum (Caisse) who posted the time of 7'59 to take the lead, but Bill Sanchez smashed that time with a 7'52.
But the winner was Wadley Briggins (Cofidis), who posted the best time of the day with 7'50, to take the yellow jersey
Stage:
1 Wadley Briggins Cofidis 7'50
2 Bill Sanchez Team High Road + 2
3 Patrick Hughes Quick Step + 7
4 Ivan Dalibor Astana s.t.
5 Hallvard Skjønvold Crédit Agricole s.t.
6 Allan Smile Bouygues Telecom + 8
7 Max Tannenbaum Caisse d'Epargne + 9
8 Cadel Evans Silence - Lotto + 13
9 Matt Linardo Rabobank + 14
10 Mavid Dillar Cofidis s.t.

Paris-Nice
Stage 2
Flat 182km
7 riders went clear in the BOTD: Tommersen (Milram) was among them.
They were easily caught with 22km to go, and it came down to a sprint. Nick Kinney had a lead out from Andrew Fenn (both Milram) on the right, but Alex Lofgren (Francaise des Jeux) sprinted through the centre from a long way out to take the stage win, along with the points jersey, dragging through another Milram sprinter (Stuart Mason) into second spot

Paris - Nice
Stage 3
Hill 212km
A very tough stage today, with lots of tough gradients
Michael Brown (Rabobank) goes all alone in the break. However, the chase causes the pack to split with 150km left!!! The front group contains 23 riders, and catches the lone escapee with 140km left. The next group contains 15 riders, over a minute back, then a minute again to the pack. Crazy!!!
By the top of the big climb in the middle of the race, Samuel Ziegler (Gerolsteiner) is pulling over the front group of 15 riders. They remain together, until on the final categorised climb, attacks are launched, taking the number down to 11 riders, who are to contest the sprint.
The big favourite for the sprint is Addy Richardson (Saunier-Duval), but he goes too early, and Matt Smith (Caisse) capitalises to take the win.
Nyberg takes the KOM jersey, and the race appears to be between 11 riders now
Stage:
1 Matthew Smith Caisse d'Epargne 5h35'24
