Jelajah Malaysia Stage 3
Today was another flat stage and after the disappointments in the last two stages we hope that one of the favorites, Powers can finally win.
Today we sent Burke again in a break hoping that he could get a win.
They stayed away for a while but with about 25 kilometers left, it looked like they would be caught.
But Connor caught up to the group and came up to the front along with Burke, who had sat in the back the whole stage.
It was just Connor and Burke trying to stay away. They picked up about a minute until it looked like they would be caught.
Surely enough with 10 kilometers left they were finally caught and it was the sprinters turn to fight it out. Powers was led by a powerful train and with about a kilometer left he was fighting for third.
Would he be ale to win it? ...
Nope. It was Arashiro who keeps up his dominance with his second stage win. Powers was able to take second meaning our first podium place of the year.

Jelajah Malaysia Stage 4
Today was another flat stage and we wanted to set up Powers with a stage win before we got to the mountains.
As usual there was a small break that got away. There were no real threats to the GC but we don't care about the GC all we want is a stage win. So we sent a couple of our riders upfront to chase them down and make sure that they didn't pick up anymore time.
After a long chase the gap seemed to start coming down. With about 20 kilometers left it was brought all the way down to 2 minutes. I guess the breakaway just lost there legs because they were not able to pick up the pace and were caught with about 15 kilometers to go. Time for the sprint finish.Fox led out two different trains and one included Powers, who was looking for a win
As soon as the sprint began it looked very good for Powers. It was a two rider fight between Arashiro, who has dominated this race, and our very own Powers. It was a close finish. After yesterdays close finish would he get the win today ...
No .... No victory today.

Jelajah Malaysia Stage 5
Will we finally get our first win. Only time will tell. Today is the last flat stage before we head into the penultimate mountain stage. Some riders will be holding back today to make sure they save energy for the mountains but we don't need to since we have practically no chance.
We kept our trend as we send a man into the break again making this the 4th stage that we have done that. It was Connor who was able to slip in the break and he sat on the back trying not to waste energy.
When we came to an intermediate sprint we knew that the peloton was gaining time and that if we stayed in the break that we would be caught. So we sent Connor on a solo mission for the stage win.
Unfortunately he did not have the legs to stay away and was caught with about 20 kilometers to go. With everything coming to a sprint we set up an almost perfect train and tried to keep the pace up so no one could catch on.
With 2 kilometers left we sprint. It was close every inch of the way. With half a kilometer left it looked even.
After two heartbreaks in a row will this be another or will we finally get that all important first win.
We take the win! Our first of the season. A great win for the team and we will be celebrating tonight.

Nice win - but his name is Power not Powers.
Youre riders must be taking this pretty seriously - heartbroken at coming 2nd in some Malaysian race? (Disappointed would be a better word choice )

Jelajah Malaysia Stage 6
After a great stage yesterday today would probably be the exact opposite. With today being a tough mountain stage I will need a miracle.
Early on we sent Jennings on a break so maybe we could win.
He sat on the back and they made it all the way to the mountain and still had a 5 minute lead. Except the break could not stay away and as expected all my riders dropped to the back. But the break still fought for their lives.
In the end Jennings was our highest finisher and it was still pretty far back.

The Tour of Wellington stage 1 will be coming soon because it is a TT. The other stages will have to wait.

Tour of Wellington Stage 4
Another fairly flat stage and it would go to either a break or a sprinter. Right now we want to get David closer to first since right now he is in 4th place.
Early on a small break got away. There was one rider alone from the rest of the break.
In the end if was Loffler.
Stage 5
Sijmens ended the 48 kilometer flat stage by taking the win.
