Bikeline 2-day

Stage 2

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/Bikeline.png
This stage is flat, and it's just 59 km long.
Tactics: Simon Gaywood for the sprint, maybe a late Oliphant attack. Try to get a rider in a breakaway.

Neil Coleman attacked in the beginning.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/Coleman.png
Neil tried but couldn't creat a good gap.

Instead Tom Barras tried, and he got a little gap.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/Barras.png
Barras attacking.

But Barras was going to drop back to the peleton, and then Phinney tried to attack with Cassidy and Stannard with 32 km left of the stage.

Phinney got nothing and now Rhys Lloyd of Rapha Condor tried an attack.

Rhys was away for a while but couldn't creat a big gap.
Evan Oliphant was feeling great today (+4), so he decided to have a go with 10 km left.

But he was easiely reeled in.
Simon Gaywood had a good position in the sprint when it was 1,8 km left.

With 500 metres left, this was his position, was he going to make a third place?

He had a gap of 3 minutes when it was 50 km left of the stage.

Tour Of The Reservoir

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/ReservoirStage.png
The team who is riding today:
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/TeamReservoir.png
This one day race in Great Britain is a hilly stage and it is important for the team. The two hills in the end will decide who will win this year. The stage is 158 km long.
Tactic: Protect Oliphant and try to go with the breakaway.

Neil Coleman tried to attack early.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/ColemanReservoir.png

But he got nothing, instead Jackson attacked.

Jackson created a break and here it is.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/BreakReservoir.png
The breakaway riders relaying.

Simon Richardson felt well (+3), but Oliphant just felt ok (+1). Maybe Richardson will try something?
Anthony Colby started the attacks in the first hill.
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/ColbyReservoir.png
The american trying to get away.

A group of riders tried to counter. Who is that in the Plowman kit?
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/CounterReservoir.png
It's Richardson who is trying to catch Colby and the breakaway riders.

But Richardson isn't strong enough to catch the breakaway riders group where the attackers Hoffmann, Colby, White and Sotherland is in too. Can he catch them?
i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/RichardsonReservoir.png
Richardson is closing the gap to the front group.

But Richardson is a fighter and he catching the group. Just after he joined the group, it is splitted into two small groups and then White attacks. He creates a gap.

A single race in Ireland. It's 163 km long and is pretty hilly.
Tactics: Protect Gaywood, try an attack with Oliphant and go with the early break.

The stage started with Coleman attacking as usual.

i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk25/G_Larsson/ShayOli.png
Attacks nr 2.

Oliphant and Boom couldn't reach the breakaway riders and Ford Co.
But Oliphant won't give up and tried again. This time he reaches Bajadali, Faltus, Ford and Rice. Den Bakker and Van Emden leading the race.

Oliphant then attacks, trying to close the gap to Van Emden and Den Bakker, and he gets a gap to Bajadali and Co. but can't reach the front group. But in the sprint Oliphant cracks and finishes 6th.
