I had a similar problem, not with this DB though.
Turned out the TextureComposition.xml file in Pro Cycling Manager 15/3D folder caused this crash. Any chance you have replaced the original file with another one?

Problem resolved!!!!!!! When i use the 2017database.cdb downloaded with dropbox it crashes, i installed the 2017database.cdb by MountainMaster posted in page 1 thread #16 and it works fine...Finaly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  |

Probably I messed something in the database. At the moment I don't have PCM 15 installed so I don't know what is the reason of the crash.
Try the attached database (after download correct the file name to 2017Database) it's the same of Post #16 + updates of Post #22 (except the birthdates)
