Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race Results
Podium:
1. Nikias Arndt
2. Simon Gerrans
3. Cameron Meyer
A low-scoring race for many here with 1st and 3rd position Arndt and Meyer not picked by any of the participants, however top scoring here were AbhishkekLFC, Raziz and Marcovdw with 40 points for correctly guessing it'd be a sprint of more than 5 riders on the line and Gerrans in second place. Both also entered van Poppel (who failed to make it to the sprint) and well as Aussie puncheurs Haas and McCarthy (for the latter two) respectively, both of whom finished in the minor places.
Other points scorers, who all racked up 20 points, were jandal, emre99 and purepasd who got the bonus correct, and Selwink, who had Gerrans in his three. The hipster pickster Croatia drew a blank this time around, though attempts were made for a solo win.
The leaderboard as we leave Australia with a few changes as Abhishkek leapfrogs into the lead whilst Raziz catches up to jandal and purepasd 10 points off the pace. Croatia remains last of those that have competed in both races. Marco as one of the top-scorers shuts the gap to Selwink and our defending champion has the top four well in his sights.
