Well, I have thought this may be a race where Bewley is beaten, especially after all his efforts to try to get away from the group of favourites. However, that was probably even more dominant win than in previous cobble races this season. Amazing scenes!

Quite funny is that you actually though Bewley will not dominate again this year...
I mentioned Bewley not dominating again because he is not as good sprinter as he once was in comparision to the others. Cobbles were always an another story... And he lost in Kuurne!

I very much support some rejuvation of cobbled season, be it suggested double headers or something else, because now the races are quite meh...and Bewley is just sent to every cobbled race in the calendar and dominates by bike lengths.
I like the idea for a double-header in cobbles quite a lot as well - we have a double-header in MO, HIL, SP, TT - but not in COB.
However, Bewley won't ride ToNE this year once again. A strong chance for the others!

At no point during the race/report did I know where any rider except for Bewley and GVA was. I think a little bit more namedropping is needed, otherwise i'll just scroll directly to the results. I didnt know if Tom David was in the chase group or hopelessly lost. In the results I could see it was the latter.
Congrats on another dominant win!
I was thinking the same - food for thought, the_hoyle, and thanks for the report anyway :-)

General comment: Kamyshev did well, but his non-existant sprinting skills obviously hurt him when it came down to a group sprint. Just glad he managed to finish with the front group - shows some promise.
