And we are back
I was feeling nervous this morning and I could sense that the team were feeling the pressure, this was surely the stage where the race would be won and we would have our work cut out for us to stop Fedrigo.
We brought the break back before the hill and Brandt sprang out of the pack, leading out Van Huffel in his attack.
They were joined by Cobo and, annoyingly, Fedrigo who we wouldnt be able to beat in a sprint.
Gutierrez and Landaluze joined on the descent.
We told our guys to do their best to drop Fedrigo but he was too strong and won the sprint pretty easily to all but secure his win.
Results
The standings for the stage the same as the overall, we now have Van Huffel in 4th and Brandt in 6th, perhaps we can try something on the flat.

We bring a very weak sprint squad to the sprinters race of Qatar which will be lead by Leif Hoste. He will rely on the opening TTT with able support from Cioni in order to try and take a high finish. Another tactic we may try is attacking on the flat.
We felt a bit deflated with the result, as we were only able to take 9th and will be focusing on TTTs at training in the near future.

The last stage of this tour that had been very successful for us so far and our goals for the day were to take a sprint victory as well as keeping Roesems out of trouble in the leaders jersey.
As the sprint begun we decided Gardeyn could have a go today and Sentjens lead him out.
Sentjens powered away from the others, and Gardeyn went straight past looking strong.
And he took a great victory.
Results
Overall
I am very pleased with our teams domination in this race and hopefully results like this will continue for the rest of the season.
1st, 4th, 6th, and 9th and Roelandts takes the young riders jersey.

The final stage of the first PT event of the year and on this stage it looked as though we would have little chance of moving Van Huffel up in the standings, but he was keen to have a go anyway.
So in the final stages of the race he gave the nod and was lead out on an attack.
But it wasnt to be, he was pulled back easily by the sprinters teams as pagliarini won the stage.
Results
Greg sprinted well once again to take eighth.
Overall
Although we didnt manage to make the podium we can't be too unhappy with the results, taking 4th, 5th and 10th with a relatively weak squad compared to some of the others. I was happy to tell they boys job well done.

The rest of the Tour of Qatar would consist of the leaders from the TTT trying to keep their time on the sprinters getting time bonuses, which put us pretty much out of the game. Hoste tried a few attacks of the front and Vansevenant out performed everyones expectations in the sprints but it all amounted to relatively little, Vansevenant taking a 4th in one stage, the overall one by Bennati ahead of Van Hummel and Boonen.

We predicted a relatively weak field for this one day hilly race which will be lead by our successful Tour Down Under participants, Brandt and Van Huffel. Gardeyn will also make the trip but whether he can make it over the hills is another matter.
Although the weak field gave us a good chance of victory it also created the problem that not many teams could help chase the break and it was left up to us, with cofidis providing occasional assistance. We realised this too late however and by the time we brought the team to the front with just over 30km to go the break had four minutes. And it wasnt coming back.
With 16km to go Geslin and Arrieta attacked and Van Huffel and Brandt followed, but only Brandt could make the gap but with 7km to go the break still had more than a minute.
The chasers weren't moving fast enough so Brandt attacked again and got a gap to try and bridge up to the break solo.
It wasnt good enough though. Vantomme won the sprint in the break while Brandt led the rest home 8th, pretty pissed off things didn't go more his way for the win.
Results
Eighth and Twelth in race we could have won doesn't feel great and it feels like my first real slip up since coming to the team.

Race Preview
We send a pretty strong team here and will be looking for good results, Tjallingii for the overall or perhaps Roesems after his performance in San Luis and a sprint duo of Roelandts and Sentjens, the latter will take the lead as he is feeling the best at this stage of events.
The day didn't start of well for us. D'Hollander crashed a long way from home and although he got up and battled on to finish the stage he couldn't make contact with the pack.
The cameraman captured some nice scenery in the background as the guys followed the team plan of a Roesems>Roelandts>Sentjens train. The guys from Bouygues were also looking strong alongside us.
The leadout man for Bouygues was stronger and we dropped behind them a little, we had our fingers crossed that Sentjens had a big kick in him today.
and he did, but it wasnt quite enough, finishing a close third between Mondory who came from nowhere and Fedrigo.
Results
Good to see Roy on the podium again this season and also good to see a top 10 from roelandts who we feel might be able to have a say in the GC
