I sure hope Chavanel doesn't win. He'd spoil nearly 100 years of great history. But I'm confident it won't happen. If it does, I will throw rocks at him when he arrives (that reminds me to go and collect rocks before sunday) . |

....would be so cool if Chavanel won. Him and Nuyens combined looks like the strongest team at the moment. Maybe Kroon can do something as well? Everybody will be looking at Cancellara, so maybe that could be Kroons chance to get away? Kroon and Chavanel/Nuyens will decide the race?
....nah, in this race you'll need either Quickstep or Lotto at your side to get to the finish in the first group.
edit.....coolest scenario imaginable would be a Flecha win though. That can only be topped by a Flecha win at Roubaix next week.

don't worry, he won't win...
although I'm not sure who will... Gilbert seemed good at first. But when he became 2nd after chavanel he didn't really impressed me... But he did fall before. So I don't know who will win.
And Boonen also won't win |

I don't think Gilbert will win. Imo he is to offensive, attacking too early in the race.... he is not cold enough.

Gusev is injured. he shouldn't be in this poll
that hasn't stopped 2 people getting right behind him...
Boonen will take it (I hope), Cancellara has peaked too early and I'm not convinced Ballan has the form to breakaway...although Boonen may crack with the pressure placed upon his shoulders by the home fans |

Gusev is in good form i dont think he can win it but he's surely good, he was great in the finishing TT of driedaagse de panne and improved a lot in the race before that
Boonen got back together with his old gf lol, so everything in his private life is stable again )
we'll see if it will help tomorrow |

Cancellara might have peaked to early but that means he is still peaking now. So he will probably win it.

Gusev doesn't have the race rhytm. Might surprise all of us by winning, but I'm afraid it won't happen.
For some reason, I just think Ballan will win it again. But why shouldn't Hushovd win it? |

And ofcourse Cancellara didn't win the E3 PRijs, so he wont win, Hoste felt down in de Panne, so he wont win

do you by any miracle get eurosport over there? they're showing the last 4 hours live (at least over here they are)
if not. I think cycling.tv is showing it.

Boonen, Cancellara, Ballan, Hoste, Gilbert are the favorites, my guess is Hoste for the win....or 2nd place at least, it won't end in a sprint anyway, someone will go solo |

Shouldn't Chavanel be considered a favourite after winning a couple of Belgian races considered to be preparation races for the RVV ?
nono the races that he had won, had few cobbelstone sections. the Tour of Flanders are hills with cobbelstones. few hills without them. i don't think he stands a chance. im going for Tom Boonen after seeing the E3-price. He counterd Cancellara with ease |
