@Shonak: I actually stalked you, before I signed him. I was really afraid of a last-minute bet from you.
@wj: I actually don't think we will fight on the same terrain for the coming season. My team is trying to go for stages. My cobble focus diminished with you signing GvK.
Hilly sprint stages is still, where our focus lies.
Despite our last jersey being already outstanding in the Peloton, we decided to get ourselves a new one. You can see the new jersey down below.
It's a really modern jersey, with the tilt in the lines. Our sponsors are also quite happy, since they are even better visible than on last years jersey. A huge shoutout goes to the_hoyle, who created this masterpiece. We are really looking foward to ride in our new colors, during the next season.
A classy looking new jersey for Löbauer Stadtwerke - Etixx this year. Some good improvements made to the squad over last year, although still a significant reliance on the CT master SImon Geschke if a top 10 challenge is to emerge.
Should be plenty of good battles ahead for Tony Martin as well, one of the favourites alongside Kai Reus for hilly stage races where the TT is a big factor. CT seems to have attracted a fair few quality TT-ist perhaps in the later years of their career looking for one or two lasts stabs at glory. As welll as Reus and Tony the Tiger, other dudes like Bookwalter, Kreuzinger and Grabovski will be looking to make an impact alongside CT stalwart Zoidl. A couple of young pretenders in Rohan Dennis and Ryan Mullen add extra spice. A shame there are not quite as many suitable races on the CT calendar this year to see these guys do battle. Preference may fall to the more 1-D TTist's suited to the sprinter friendly stage races with a TT to decide the overall.
Should be easy to spot your riders this year in their snazzy new colours, and I expect we will all be seeing a fair bit of them at the pointy-end of the races. Bon chance!
Really nice jersey, hopefully it inspires your guys to a few wins, as long as you save some for us
@Scorchio,
That post makes me really want a CT season preview from you, if you have time to do one, would be nice to see how you view the rest of the terrains and how you rate the strength of each team.
