I'm not much into this Track thingy, but I noticed that Pliuschin isn't figuring on the results in individual pursuit, why is that?
Is it just in the management game he's a track rider?

I dont think he's a track rider.
On a similiar note: I demand we add 5 points to Markov's TT skill and give him entrance to the individual pursuit even though he failed to qualify in-game.

He qualified for the Olympics Individual Pursuit through the B Track World Championships last year.

Due to "technical difficulties", the french anthem couldn't be played for the french team on the podium.
So the crowd began chanting La Marsellaise.
And this was in england
The sound guys' hard drive died, which was the cause of this. They've put a new hard drive in this morning. I wish I'd seen it (the crowd singing, not the techies putting in a new hard drive). |

The BBC is showing the cycling live today at 13:00 and 19:00 just incase anyone didn't see it was on
It will probably be on interactive as well in-between but the 1extra-fest seems to be on at the minute.
Might be the same times for other counties, not sure.

To voice my opinion on yesterday:
Mens pursuit : Wiggins did a great ride and wasn't phased at all by Huizenga. Wiggins although was defiantly out of form for sure. Nonetheless he did a great ride.
Womens 500 TT : Forgot it was on but my only comment would be that Shanaze Reade defiantly hasn't settled into that event and unlike most of the top 10 she didn't use TT bars. Hopefully she will mange to take the Team sprint with Vicky.
Mens Scratch Race : My favorite race of the night, i was jumping up and down when I saw Aliaksandr Lisouski come from the back and join Mori. After attacking at the start and then going on to winning that was the best winner for me. Steven Burke did a good race and has defiantly learned from the experience.
Mens Team Sprint: I think France were always going to take it what ever happened. it was a great ride in the final and i think if we had take someone else than Edgar it would have been much closer. However with no one else in form i think that was the only squad we could have taken.
It was a great night of racing and so far the medals have gone exactly how they did last year. lets hope in the next few days GB can do even better |

Smoothie, Burke's race wasnt that great - he crashed out did he not?
And with Reade, she said herself that she wasnt going for Gold but looking to set as good a first lap as possible in preperation for the Team Sprint with Pendleton today - the bike wasnt set up for 2 laps, and it looks good since she set a new PB for the opening lap.

It's a real big shame Stroetinga didnt win the scratch he is so good, just see how close he came in the last lap!
but still, the belarus guy deserved it just as much. he was the first and last attacker. he allmost lapped the pack...
and the Dutch where faster then the British in the team sprint looking good for Bos for the Sprint so far |

Todays epic fight: Denmark versus UK in the 4000m Men's Team Pursuit.
Denmark broke their previous record in the qualifications earlier today with 3,57.734 beating UK's 3,58.983.
Could we see the world record break tonight when Denmark makes fools out of the brits?

I'm pretty sure this should be a win for the Brits, we have Wiggins, how could we lose?

I agree Wiggins will be the main man again. And maybe the Danes have gone a tiny bit too hard. It may end up just like yesterday. But i don't want to be going 'Haha Danes their crap' they are very good and I wouldn't be too angry if we were beaten by them. |

I also forgot to mention something very important, a rider for GB Jess Varnish is riding the sprints. Its great as she comes from my cycling club! |

I'm quite surprised by how much it's actually covered by the Danish media. So, if they do good today (and at the Olympics) Danes might become interested... |

They should allready be interested. Alex Rasmussen is a beast on the track. He and Morkov (cant put the slash through the o) should be good in the madison as well. They've won a few 6 days together. I want Keisse to do well there though! |
