Well I wouldn't call Cancellara a bad time trialist and he is 10th in the GC.

I know, but 54 seconds over an in-form Axelsson over a hilly 25km course? When a TT is longer than 30kms, the differences increase exponentially with difference, but in 25kms, they aren't that big, usually.
If you really want Cance to win this, hope he miraculously hangs with the top group in tomorrow's hardest stage and that Axelsson has a horrible day on Sunday

And riding for Serramenti
No, congrats to the Swedes. He won't win, though, so enjoy it while you can |

That's an understatement, the article on SVT last night was the first none dope cycling article I've seen in a swedish media for 1,5 year. We really need the good press. |

And it was about Axelsson. Isn't that just the definition of irony

I think that everyone is forgetting that Gerdemann is only 24 seconds behind... He is the main candidate for the win...

Today is the hardest stage. The profile reminds me of the Flèche Wallone.
For those who want to see it live (starts in 65 minutes) on Rai Tre, install this
https://www.streamerone.it/download/wi...-4.5.2.zip
After installing, run that program and go to this link and click on "test 3" to watch the race:

So much for hardest stage. no real attacks and it ends in a sprint. Petacchi wins and anything can happen tomorrow in the TT

I think so too. I just don't think it's the most likely

Probably not. It'll take an off-day from Axelsson, but I'm positive he'll end on the podium at the very least.
