I'm glad to see Machado is delivering here after a bit of a meh start to the season. Keizer seems to be having his best ever mountains race too.

I really need to be part of a successful breakaway here if I want any chance to score points. I'll be surprised if this is anything other than a 0 pointer.

Martin Hacecky performs well here. The TT doesnt suit him well, so he will surely lose a lot there, but he might still be in top 15 before the final stage.
Are there any KOM points in the TT, if so how many? Also how many points Does the cat 2 climbs give on the final stage? I hope Hacecky will keep the Jersey for as long as possible, and if he can end in the top 5 or better in the KOM it would be nice.
30 overall points seems possible.

Machado has been remarkably consistent, I couldn't have asked for more so far. Keizer though looks really menacing with the TT coming up. Let's hope the TT stat doesn't really count for this

Dissapointing yet again. Getting beaten Valls here, wow. Machado is definetely taking this on home. Well deserved after the slow start he had

Machado keeps impressing, even where he should lose some ground to the opposition. one more day of this is still needed though, but with this sort of form I like his chances.

If you can go 8th in a MTT, you could go 8th in the GC too.

It's not impressive to finish 7th when your 18th on GC wasn't even a good performance stat wise |

You have got to be fucking kidding me... How can you lose 22 minutes on a stage like this, when you are in the 2nd group on the final mountain? Jesus fucking christ!!! From 11th to 30-something is just STUPID!
AI is horrible here. Again, I might add...
So those 30 points that seemed so easily achievable got fucked up MAJORLY. 10-15 or so might be the result now.

Wait what?
Did I read this correct?
Intxuasti having a 20min gap with 30km to go and Keizer almost wins the stage?
I thought Intxausti would get a surprising GC win here but apparently a long day in the break, he was dead exhausted.
Then the next big surprise that Keizer started the favourite`s attack then. And even improved and improved. Once again, love the point jersey in this combination.
Seeing him winning the GC is a big time moment for me. It`s the first ever stage race win in 3 1/2 seasons. And I did not see this one coming in that competition but apparently training Keizer was the best decision this offseason. A bit of a pity that Gustav lost it on that last stage as Machado normally should be the winner here.
Aru as 20th with a superb co leader result. This time clearly the stronger of my two young climbers. Still with only 3 climbers in my squad I take the 4th in the Team ranking as also Keizer`s points in P/KoM rankings.
Thanks for the reports tsmoha! Must have been quite hard in especially on that last weird stage. Was a great pleasure to read them. |

Very strange final stage. Seems like Hirschlein stayed out of to much trouble and defended his 15th place safely.
It's strange to see Intxausti struggling so much this season, while he had a great season last year. Atleast a bit of redemption on the final stage.

I absolutely cannot complain about 12th GC when looking at those names both ahead and behind. Petar fought hard for that and fully deserves those points in such a high quality field. It's good for us, very good really. Enjoyed that race a lot
