Giro d' Italia stages 15-20
Six stages with 5 montain crucial for GC stages.
Stage 15 with finish on Montecampione
We had only 5 riders left. Latoń, Gradek and Taciak were injured so I had to withdraw them and Brateng withdraw due to not many stages for sprinters. In this situation as a leader we should make a tempo in peleton. Mihaylov did it alone, Szmyd protected Jan and Samoilau protected Ranieri.
We started last climb and Ranieri was still with Jan. Riders started to attack including one of Yates and Pinot. Hirt was -1 so the goal was to not lose a time.
Group of 12 riders went clear, we had to chase them.
Aru counterattack and went clear. I was leading the chasing group. Situation at 5,6km to go.
Hirt made a big push and catched Aru 1,6 km to go.
Hirt was unable to beat Aru on the finish, but still not lose time to him and improve gap on others.

Stage 16. Val Martello
Same scenario as last stage, but this time stage was definetly tougher.
Szmyd made a tempo on the final climb.
There were attacks by guy like Aru but Szmyd didn't let them go.
11km to go Hirt was alone already in 20riders group.
Some riders went clear, but I didn't panic, I had to save some energy. Still long way to go. Unfortunately Aru was again very strong and let me behind.
I was second losing about minute 1,5 km to go.
Finally I lost to Aru almost one and a half. Sicilian is getting stronger from stage to stage and has a strong team.

Stage 18 with finish on Valsugana.
We made a big tempo before last climb, which was actually a mistake, due to Jan -3. I didn't know he will react like that.
There were many attacks, I couldn't response waiting for what Aru will did.
Aru attacks! 12,5 km to go and I was quite tired. As I said earlier, one poor day condition and I can lose the Giro. I think even after a patch it still has to big influence on game. But to be honest, I had +4 +5 earlier, so I'm even with this game
5km to go and I was out of fuel
On the line 5 minutes after winner, almost 3 behind Aru. We still will fight. One +5 performance can change everything, but mafioso show us that it's his terrain.

Stage 19 was a mountain TT on Cima Grappa.
I decided that my riders will start slower and then put everything in the end. When Szmyd finish he was 2nd.
Micolucci pass Pirazzi.
On the line he was 1st. Honestly, if he will be a leader, he could finish this race in top 10 easily. Maybe next year, because he is till 22 years old.
Due to slow start, Hirt was passed by Aru, but 3km to go he made a big push, pass Italian and go to the line.
On the finish Jan was second, losing 19 seconds to Adam Yates.
Aru won again. He beat Hirt by a 30 seconds improving gap to 1,59. We will try to do everything on Zoncolan.

Last mountain stage and penultimate in whole Giro. Stage 20 with finish on Zoncolan.
Before the last climb, still 4 our riders in leaders group. Hirt +1, not bad but without fireworks.
We put a very fast tempo, but 5km to go there were still 3 Astana riders: Aru, Landa and Kangert and Yates too.
3,3 km to go still Aru and Landa with Hirt, but Jan is very tired already. We can't win this Giro. Still a breakaway in front, so the stage on Zoncolan is out of reach too.
Aru and Landa left me behind, showing who is the boss.
Jan lost 23 seconds to Astana duo, but secure 2nd place in Giro. Great result for him and our team!

Last stage of this succefull Giro for us. 2nd place general, 1st place in U25 and 3 stages win. One mountain by Hirt, one hilly by Hirt and surprising victory on ITT by Micolucci.
We were all in the front to be sure of avoiding some crashes in the end.
We made even a train, having hope that maybe Aru will lost something in the end.
And indeed there were few crashes. In one almost Aru fell down - Guardini riding next to him hit the ground taking Pinot, Zakarin, Porte and few others too. Pinot in result lost 7th place and finish 9th.
Jan was fighting till the end...
... but it was Fedi from breakaway winning in Trieste.

Now some rest for the guys. Actually in june nobody should be in top condition and do some good result. Unfortunately same on TDF. In France we will try to win some stage, but will be hard. Now we are looking for August when Paterski and Micolucci will try do something in Poland and ENECO, and after that Hirt will try to make another podium in GT on spanish roads. I'm focus now on renew contract with Hirt which will be available since 21 june. 4 riders retired: Kiendyś, Rutkiewicz, Schumacher and Szmyd so I will try make a 4 new riders in team. Our goals are Pinot and Bouhanni as my sponsor want French riders in team. Maybe we will try to sign Degenkolb or Kristoff. We will see, but the most important is to hold Hirt in team.
Meanwhile small races in the end of june.

5 stage
First truly mountain stage, so we send Szmyd in the escape, which was quite big.
But peleton was unfriendly again. 2 and a half minute gap 17km to go with not much power wasn't optimistic.
4,5 km to go there were trio in the front. Froome, Quintana and surprisingly Barguil.
Contador joined them and attacked immediately.
But it was Barguil who raise his hands up.

Again we tried our chances in escape. Paluta was out selection and he was in 6 riders group.
But Chavanel and Molard were too strong for Michał.

Chavanel won
Paluta was 3rd, riding all alone those 50 km. First quite good result for us in this race.

Hard mountain stage with Alpe d Huez. Szmyd in escape of 13 riders.
After first 3 climbs, Sylwester was with Astana rider in 1st group, winning all KOM today.
Bilbao and McCarthy joined us. We were sure, that escape will make it today. Can Szmyd win a stage in his last season?
Unfortunately Koznahatayev was too strong.
Szmyd was losing almost a minute 10km to go
Second place on the stage, but claim a KOM yersey. We will defend it on the last stage.

Szmyd attacked from the start and was alone in escape with 3 minutes gap.
Then Dan Craven join him. Sylwester took points on 3rd cat. climb.
Unfortunately peleton was chasing us, I wanted to win on the 1st cat. climb, but was unable. Hopefully I score some points, and it looks like I will secure KOM.
AC, Froome and Quintana were together before last climb to Risoul.
Froome made a pace and only Contador response.
Froome won, Contador finish 3rd, but claim a overall win.

Quite hard stage. We decided to do the same as on Dauphine. Get some time in the "ass" and then try escapes. Majka was setting the pace on the last climb.
Pole was very strong and left Uran nad Kangert behind.
Long way to go for Rafał, can he make it?
Yes, Rafał was the best, and another Pole Kwiatkowski was second jumping to second group on the last 5km with Valverde.

It was a hilly stage. No more flat, so I withrdawn many riders, leaving just Stępniak, Micolucci and Delaplace. The last from them was in escape.
But again peleton was unfriendly for us. Only Cancelarra could stay in frony after final climb but not much gap for him. He was chasing by Dan Martin.
Martin and Alaphilippe join him in the finale. Who will win?

There are bugs always in national champs if there are not to many riders on the start list. It allowed us to make a breakaway in few (Poland, Czech, Norway) and take an easy win.

Carl made as big gap, that everybody were withdrawn
I hope Hirt will renew contract with us, but so far he want to wait. I hope it will not end as last season that I will not sign any good rider...
I'm pissed of with this contract shit. I even made a topic few weeks ago after my first season when I couldn't sign no good riders. Now I sign only Poljański, still waiting for final decision of Hirt, Pinot, Degenkolb and Chevrier. If they won't join me, I will not have a big choice now. In previous version of PCM there wasn't this kind of problem.
Favourites: Quintana, Contador, Froome, Nibali, Kreuziger, Pinot, Van Garderen, Majka, Aru, Kwiatkowski.
Our squad:
Goal is to win the stage. We don't have a climber there, we have Paterski who will loook for a oportunity to escape on hilly stages. Goal for Latoń is to finish in top 10 on flat stages. I don't expect a fireworks from my team there.
First stage and there was an escape without our rider. We decide to not stay in peleton. We want to save as much energy as possible to use it in breakaways in future.
Latoń was trying to get good position in finale.
He was behind Demare.
Lotto Soudal and Katusha work well - russian team has Cavendish and Greipel too.
But it was Marcel Kittel who won first stage and became a leader!

1st stage and 1st favourite out - Christopher Froome hit the ground and couldn't continue.
stage 2
We put Delaplace in escape, hoping he can take a polka do yersey. But Langeveld was there and he was stronger than Anthony.
Peloton gave us no chance, getting us with still more than 60 km to go.
There was a strong crosswind. It was a threat for some riders to left behind.
Indeed peloton was splited. Kwiatkowski had great leadout by Uran in the end.
But he started sprint to late and couldn't pass Boasson Hagen, who won the 2nd stage!

stage 3
Another hilly stage, but there should be a quite big group at the finish.
Delaplace tried again, but once again there was a Langeveld who grab most points KOM.
Peloton catched us 43km to go.
Meanwhile another crashes. Including Contador, who had to chase. Nibali had less luck and was forced to withdraw.
5km to go Pinot, van Garderen and Mollema hit the ground.
Bouhanni won in french champion yersey, while Contador, Pinot, TVG and Mollema were able to finish without losing a second.

This time we thought that we have a chance to make the breakaway succesfull.
But 12km to go, we had to forget about it.
Kittel and Demare had the best trains in the end
But Kittel he was leaded out by Degenkolb, won for the 2nd time this Tour

Stage to Pau, so escape can make it. Probably last stage, when we can look for a stage victory. Unfortunately Paterski get sicked and we had withdraw him. Now he will prepare at home for Tour de Pologne.
We put Delaplace in the escape, but even if peleton will let them go till the finish, I couldn't beat guy like Purito.
Purito attacked from the start of the last climb.
VdB try to follow
Pinot and Kwiatkowski attacked from the leader group
Alaphilippe joined the duo, and they catched at the top of the climb Rodriguez. Unfortunately they didn't cooperate.
Sagan was a guy who know how to use it, and he join Kwiatkowski group

Purito again in the escape, he is fighting for polka dot jersey.
He left everyone back on the 1st d'Huez climb
Meanwhile Aru attacked from leaders group
He joined Cataldo, who now help him on the descent
Peloton still quite big
Aru left Cataldo and with T. Martin start to chase Rodriguez
Situation before final climb. Can anyone catch Purito and Aru? Who will win Spaniard or Italian?
First attack from yellow jersey group. It's Pinot.
Is Quintana weak or just don't react?
Still 10km to go, but Pinot improving his gap
Aru catched Purito
Quintana, Contador, Majka and Mollema fight back. Few others with them.
Situation 6km to go. Who will win? Aru, Purito or maybe Pinot?
Quintana out of the saddle, Contador to follow
Pinot just minute behind leaders, but he feel Quintana breath on his back
Colombian joined to brave Frenchman ...
as Contador, Mollema and Majka too

Very tough 2 climbs in the first half of the stage. Then 3 easier climbs and finish after descent. Good ocasion for breakaway. This time, there were 4 riders in breakaway: Aru, Fuglsang, Kreuziger and Wellens. Good squad, but peleton didn't let them go with a big gap.
Meanwhile on the second climb, we had attack by Pinot, who still want to fight for podium or even overall victory.
He joined Aru group, but still 80km to go. Can he do something similiar like Landis few years ago ?
Quintana took bussines in his own hands.
More riders followed leader and then we had 11 riders group on the front. There wasn't Majka.
Aru attacked again
Pinot attacked again too on the last climb
Contador also tried to left Quintana, but Colombian has eye on him
Pinot was losing time to Mollema, which was crucial in podium fight. [img=https://s22.postimg.org/nro3m86r1/PCM0070.jpg]
Majka was losing much more, and he was definetely out of podium fight
ARu won second straight
Finaly Contador was with Quintana and Mollema with Pinot so the fight for 1st and 3rd still not over.

20 stage
Aru was attacking again, but he was now 10th in GC, so the peleton didn't let him go. Due to high pace, main group was splitted.
There was a 40 riders group at the head of the race
50km to go, Aru and Kreuzgier try again on penultimate climb
9th in GC Alaphilippe was down
Before last climb the favourites were together.
Group of 10 riders went clear, but without favourites. Then Contador, Pinot and Mollema attacked 10 km to go.
Pinot look like he is the strongest
He was chasing by Contador and Majka, former teammates
Quintana went to work
Mollema was losing time, riding with Costa, can Dutchman stay in top 3?
3,3 km to go and trio Quintana, Contador and Majka were very close to Pinot, who was scared with this devil guy
Quintana attacked for the stage and the race. Only Alberto react.
But Spaniard was unable to beat Nairo.
Pinot 3rd on the stage and 3rd overall
Mollema lost minute and a half to Pinot.

As usually, there was a mass sprint at the Champ Elysses. Kittel having Mezgec and Degenkolb before was a favourite.
Kristoff, Cavendish and Kittel had best trains
But it was Bouhanni who start the sprint first and it was a good decision
His rivals were faster in the end, but they couldn't fill the gap, so win for Bouhanni. Maybe he didn't win green yersey, but won on 14.07 and on champs elysses!

So the win for Quintana as I think it will be. Contador did everything, but Nairo was to good in mountains. It's probably over for Spaniard, he might be 79MO in next season and I don't think he can still win a GT. We are now focus on the Vuelta, when Hirt will fight for his second GT podium. Meanwhile Paterski will fight for top 10 in Poland and Micolucci in ENECO. We will see.
Transffers, transffers!
I have mixed feelings. I am very happy, because we renew contract with our leader - Jan Hirt. We hire also a very good rider to help him in mountains, which is Pole Paweł Poljański. But the biggest bomb is that Thibaut Pinot will ride for CCC Sprandi in the next season! I think that Hirt will try to go in Giro and fight for the win. Then he will help Pinot to win in France, and finish in top 10. Pinot will go to the Vuelta at the end.
I am quite sad too, because we lost many riders from the second suit, as I am saying. Good riders who were very good gregario. I thought that I will get a mail, when some team will offer a contract to my rider. Something like "XXX give a contract offer to Latoń". But I didn't and when I was waiting for Pinot and Hirt decision I lost riders like: Latoń, Matysiak, Kaczmarek, Małecki, Pluciński, Paluta, Gradek, Bernas and Marycz. Schumacher, Kiendyś, Rutkiewicz and Szmyd finished their careers. I had to react fast and I sign some polish and french riders to fill the roster, but unfortunately they aren't as good as Latoń, Kaczmarek, Paluta, Gradek or Bernas.
I sign two young riders too, giving them a neo pro contracts (since August). First is a polish Konrad Radler. Not a champion, just to fill the roster and bring some water during the race.
Second guy will be our leader in northern classics and probably will start in ENECO. It's Jenthe Biermans.
Classica San Sebastian
We had quite poor team for this race, without a true leader. Mihaylov was in breakaway of the day.
Samoilau was our best rider there as he had +5. He was in front 10km to go.
But three riders just from TDF were the best - Alaphilippe, Aru and Pinot.
Howes and Mollema were chasing leading trio.
Alaphilippe won, ahead of Aru and Pinot.

I hope Paterski will be in top 10 in general and we will be able to win a stage. We took Gaviria too, as he is not yet in top condition, but maybe he will win some stage. Leadout for Colombian couldn't be better.
Just Nielsen, Ruffoni and Howard were able to get into our train.
Howard started his sprint first and Gaviria couldn't finish great job of his team mates.
Fernando was third.

We made a good leadout again. Can Gaviria win this time?
This time he start sprint perfectly. Moreover Kittel, a main threat was blocked for a while.
But on the right side, belgian champion Vanbilsen made a great effort, and win the stage.

1,1km to go and Gaviria was on perfect position, but he was losing his power quickly

stage 4
Last chance for Gaviria. I will withdraw him alongside with Latoń on the next stage. As always Bole and Latoń place him perfectly.
Can he finally give us a win!? Probably not, because Reza made it from the escape.
Damn you Vanbilsen, again he was too fast, so 3rd for Fernando.
First hilly stage from two in TDP. Actually no history till the last climb. Paterski felt good, so he tried to force his own tempo.
Chaves attacked, can anyone catch him. Paterski still has lot of power.
Colombian won, ahead of Kangert. For the 4th time in this race we have a podium finish, while Maciej was 3rd. 24 riders group in front.

stage 6
Another hilly stage, last one before final ITT. If we want to finish in top 5, we had to gain time today, because other favourites, are definetely better TT than Paterski. 38km to go, no attacks, Paterski still had a one domestique.
Paterski made a tempo on penultimate climb.
He was first at the top, but the 4-riders group was close.
I didn't know if I should go or wait for this 4 riders group. I didn't know how they will react if they catch me. Maybe they didn't want to cooperate and I had to gain as much as I could, because I will lose time on ITT. 4km to go and Paterski still was solo on the front.
But he lost power and was unable to response for attack by Fuglsang, Costa and Sagan.
Costa won
