About as expected from Gautier, just sitting on the fringes of the top 10. Pretty good from Pinot as well. Thanks tsmoha Smile

Thanks for all the congrats! Was such a gamble I felt to put Ponzi in a one day event, compared to Paris-Nice, but with race days being such a hard thing to decide how to allocate, the pay off when it goes right is so worth it. Nice to know I have the backup in a team to be able to split my hilly guys and still get respectable results elsewhere.

Must say I was on the edge of my seat as per usual with the reports - whenever other riders attack first, or an attack with my riders in gets pulled back, I always fear they'll miss the next one. Not the case here thankfully, and to beat TvG is a great result. Glad the finish line wasn't another 100m further on...

Our best man 67th, we again sent the weakest guy in the break...we have to be dead last in the rankings now. Pfft

With a bit of luck we could have had two guys in top 20. In the end we scored according to the stats of our leaders (give or take), so we cant ask for more.

Realised I forgot to comment: Big thanks for rescuing the race tsmoha, though unfortunate that you had to do so in the first place.

Really happy with the race itself, a podium is amazing for Gastauer after a promisingly active race. Huge effort to outsprint Bakelants at the finish.

Ginanni slightly underperformed again, 7th place is somewhere on the edge between acceptable/disappointing result.
