Ils ne s'agit pas d'un bug, il n'y a pas d'age de déclin dans PCM 2015.
It's not a bug. There is no age of decline in PCM 2015. |

The progression system in be a pro is very weird as well. How hard you train seems to have little to no effect on how fast you improve and in what. |

Makes you wonder what game the beta-testers were playing - all busy getting excited about Be-a-Pro and missing this game ruining error?
As someone who spent hours and hours in progression tests, your post kind of annoys me.
With the new progression system it was very hard to balance it, in the first test it was way too slow, second too quick, third too slow again, 4th a bit to quick.
Now it's too slow in career. You won't believe how much time I spent on it.
Yeah sorry man but please don't blame the betatesters here, I've tried my best.
It's just the new progression system being extremely hard to implement 100% correctly. The first big patch hasn't taken place yet at all, so it's too early to judge too.
What doesn't help is that people don't 100% understand the new system yet, I mean, I don't understand it fully either.
In a few tests I ran in be a pro, progression rate seems to be fixed and level of training has little to no effect on the amount of improvement. I had 2 riders, one on 1 day of training a week and the other on max. They leveled simultaneously and differed only in point distribution and not in the level of improvement. This was true for level 7-8 and 8-9. |

@MacC, do you know how the decline of a rider is determined than? Does it depend on trainers? |

The progression of a cyclist is generally controlled by two values in the "Cyclists" table of the database.
Value_f_gain is a value showing how many experience points you gain each week from training. Intensity does not seem to affect this, as far as I can tell. However, Potential does. As Potential rating of 8 will generally get you 20-21xp points per week. Whereas a potential of 1 will get you 10-14xp points. I think the value changes on each level increase, but always stays within the limits linked to potential.
Value_f_capital is your xp points. You start at 850 points, on level 7. It takes 100xp points to increase a level from 1-6. Going from Level 6 to 7 then takes another 200xp points, with further increases costing the same. I haven't looked at it beyond about level 8, but I imagine that the xp cost per level just keeps on increasing. Set this value to 0 and you can start as a Level 1 rider. Set your attributes back to 55 for even more fun.
As for attribute points you receive on level up, I think it is weighted towards the training type you perform, but with enough randomness thrown in to make it unpredictable. I haven't looked into this in any depth. |

He says:
I have said the age of decline function is no longer used. Riders no longer e decline from one day to the next because they have reached a certain age. That doesn't mean they don't decline just that the mechanics are more complex and realistic. You have to play to feel it- no longer just a case of checking the database |

@MacC, thnx for the translation.
When i read this, it seems they are not going to do anything about it. Think it's funny though because I saw in a test carreer that Nibali is already decline quite fast although he is only 30. Even though he is not in my team, he should not decline that fast. |

Bigger games than this one have failed badly at the progression/regression system. Why in the world would you try to implement smth like this. The old system was IMO one of the better ones out there, simple but functional and maybe most importantly user-controllable.
For a career guy like me this is a huge issue. Regretting already that I bought this game.
I'm pretty sure they won't be able to patch it even if they try as the biggest sportsgames around can't get it right year after year why would cyanide.
