That game truly sucks. How the hell Cyanide are able to create a bigger and bigger shit year after year, I don't know. In the past editions riders actually at least wanted to ride for a GC result...
Dont worry, PCM15 will be much much better.
I tried countless times to warn about PCM13 and PCM14 and its complete lack of suitability for the man-game. This is what we get for not being willing to listen.
Those two editions are all about human vs. AI, so when there is no human to control things, game collapses.
Really? Didn`t notice.
You should have made it more clear.
I know it became counter-productive a long time ago.

Well needless to say I'm ecstatic with the result regardless of the AI. What gets interesting even more so now is the MG points the PT teams will get from this as the top two finishers were both PCT.
As for the AI, I really don't think it is that big of an issue on 14, aside from this race where has the AI been that bad, this is just an anomaly primarily due to that cobbled TTT and the game having no idea how to deal with it. Here is a list of winners so far in the PCM14 version of the MG.
PT:
Badaling - Trofimov
Qatar - Swift
PCT:
Down Under Classic - Dzamastagic
Tour Down Under - Di Maggio
Vuelta al Tachira - Sella (leading)
CT:
Clasico San Cristobal - Mendes
Great Ocean Road Classic - Richeze
Benelux Challenge - Kruopis (leading)
The only surprising result so far is the late breakaway in in the Down Under Classic. Everything else has gone to riders that are considered as favorites. I'm not saying the AI is going to be perfect all the time, but it hasn't really been that bad aside from here.

Well, I got three riders in the "main" group. Too bad Walsleben was dropped despite being able to make the original cut.
Also, Sinkeldam at 17 minutes...

Possibly one of the worst pieces of AI i've seen in a long time surely the game think it's a classic and not a stage race for some reason it's the only way that's logical |

Aargh, still pissed about Burghardt losing 5 minutes...
...sitting up pelotons ain't news though, even in stage races. It's ridicolous of course and in a cobbled stage, it seems even worse gap-wise. All I can hope for is Burghardt gapping a few more guys now, cause I fear our guys suffering in the TTT.
Man, this season kicks off like shit for Oz

AI issues are not overly surprising given our experiences with recent versions. Seems the set up of this race unfortunately seems to have exacerbated the issue. Someone elese mentioned may act better if the TTT first - think might be worth a try offline to test this theory if theintention is to keep this race in future seasons. From a MG perspective it is a great looking race to be able to include - refinement would appear to be required though!

I guess I'm happy with stage 2... we held on to the GC, but keeping it will be a new challenge. I think we are all looking forward to see what happens on stage three, the rest of this has just been a fun mess.

Okay, that's answer from good old Visconti. Nice to see our shirt in celebration at the line.
Still frustrating from Burghardt. Today he tried, but he really should have been better on first day. I somehow don't believe in our TTT here... Could be a lottery for fthose Top-11 then. I'm kinda happy that Visconti won't party up the GC, by the way.
Weird race, for sure. Guess it could indeed be an idea to put the TT first: weak cobbles would be fucked then anyway and maybe (!) it would lead to more riders being forced to attack.

Unlucky Breen
It was truly great to see him in the move of the day, just a pity he punctured at something that looked like the worst possible moment. I guess he would have been the favourite for the stage without it, but not much you can do. Congratulations, tsmoha!
For Kristoff and Ringheim, the no show continues and more minutes lost.
Now over to the TTT, which will be great fun to watch, as I'm absolutely clueless of how it will play out. I mean, is it possible to be out of time limit in a TTT? I hope that's only my fear, and not something that could actually happen, but I can't say I'm too optimistic about our chances there, to say it the least
And thanks for the report! |

Yeah - I have to be happy enough with the whole GC situation.
I also thoroughly enjoyed our team shutting down that screw everyone chase down at the beginning. Sorry guys if you don't invite me to the party I throw stinkbomb at your crappy moves (besides what is a party without a bit of Red Bull - not to mention we can provide the babes).
You know we are all in Belgian the AI is drunk - let's party together whilst it perhaps breaks SN's computer trying to deal with cobbled TTT timebomb... tick tick tick.
I'll be happy if we finish ahead if Oz Cycling TTT bastards. I'll never forget the Continental points stealing they engaged in last season much like Azteca and BPost this year - by the way is it possible that BPost could have greater PT success this year than last?

Losing shitloads of points to Vesuvio on a cobbled race is really not what we need.

Wow, weird race...
Question is, should Crommy have brought Theo Bos?

The answer to that is always yes.
Anyway, amazing work from my youngster Bakhtiyar Kozhatayev on that second stage

Bah, another pathetic stage, Nolf again riding for 54 cobbles Ignatiev, really great showing of "PCM 14 can handle more then 1 possible leder" theory.
Only TTT win can save us from total disaster here.
Thanks for the report Roturn, i would rather kill myself if i had to report this.
