Yeah he probably meant that, playing it offline.
Well, I'm not sure if that was obvious, because I think it is an important factor to consider that you can still play without internet connection
(Obviously you'll need internet connection when installing, though)
fair enough, but he quoted me when I wrote
you will also need to run it every single time you want to play
I never spoke about an internet connection... that would've been terrible DRM |

I prefer buying PCM via steam because you can easily install and uninstall and screenshots via steam are automatically saved as jpgs which saves some time when writing race reports. |

Yeah...But getting jpeg was the reason he prefers it.
Png might be better quality but also has a lot more file size. So when reporting with several pictures in one post, jpeg are definitely better imo. |

This is actually uninstalling the game, (but you will keep it in your profile library) I don't understand why it makes easier to install another DB easily and quickly |

Hm, yeah I think you're right on that.
Well that's done very quickly and user friendly, and you can just re-install by Steam, with a clean install, any time.
Still easier than on a normal game imo, can just re-install and put a new DB on it in a short time.

Had to pay $36 USD here in Australia because Steam unfortunately doesn't recognise Australia as a country yet it seems |

On a completely unrelated topic, I know what your username means but I wonder how brewers would react

Steam has two advantages that are very important for me.
With a physical copy, if you lose it or even scratch it that's it, your copy is gone. With Steam you'll always have it.
The second is that if I don't like a game or change my mind about buying it and I haven't played it for many hours, I can just ask for a refund. On a physical copy you're probably not getting a refund after you open to install it the first time. |
