Küng Pow!
Michael Albasini may not have won the stage but the Swiss domination continues with BMC Racing's Stefan Küng taking the stage victory from the breakaway, finishing 30" ahead of the chasing Bakelants and co after attacking them on the "flat".

Well the gap started to emerge on the descent, to be fair. Still very impressive.
Tony Martin gained 7 seconds on the peloton, I doubt that will matter though.
Fun fact: This is the first Top 10 for Fröhlinger since July 2011.

Wouldn't call him ''the biggest talent in cycling for sure'', but definitely a great talent and very nice victory.

- gain a impossible second in front of the bunch (de panne)
- the only one who come close to bradley wiggins in TT (dont remember wich race)
and this guy is only 21 years old!
so who else?
Ferdy Kübler 1950 - Hugo Koblet 1951 - Stefan KüNG ?

Benoot, Bonifazio, Ewan. All 20 or 21 years old as well.

Oh you're including track cycling, as in, cycling overall?
Hmm, could possibly be argued then, although even then I'd say Mathieu van der Poel could be a bigger talent.
In road cycling I'd know some better names with similar ages or younger.
Caleb Ewan, Tiesj Benoot, Seb Henao, Florian Senechal, Miguel Angel Lopez, Bonifazio etc.
And possibly Van der Poel when he fully focusses on road cycling.
I can't deny that he's a very good talent though, just wouldn't be ''biggest road talent for sure'', but I am aware that's not what you said

Seriously?
How is a 5th place in RvV not coming close? (Benoot)
Or 5th in MSR? (Bonifazio)
Both have lots of other good results, better than Küng if you ask me.

Difficult to judge. But sure, whatever you want
Big talent at least and that's all that matters
And yes, I was perfectly aware that you are Swiss

Question is can Keung turn this talent in to sustained long term success? We've already seen how illness, injury, and\or other factors can knock other talented riders off their stride; heck just look at Sagan as a current prime example of someone not where they were predicted to be.
It is something we'll only find out in time even though Keung looks to have several of the key ingredients, since a year can be a long time in sport let alone several years.

Nice to see how you try to be diplomatic about it, but we all know that Van der Poel > All.
