Decent start for Manarelli. I guess this stage shows his chances to win one of the next stages.
But Thorsen

Once again kind of regret not sending a team here...
Kreder/Ahlstrand as sprinter and maybe Bjelkmark/Larsson as GC hopes. But that´s to late now |

Great to see Manarelli doing well - will be rooting for him as well as other ex riders Sarmiento and Bardet.
Bizarre to see Thorsen winning. Remember thinking I was clever taking Gaywood over a hill hating sprinter in CDiv2 and ending up being disappointed by the likes of Thorsen, Awang and Haddou. Amazing to ser those kind of riders doing it at PCT level. |

Oh wow my useless sprinter has won wtf, much needed win for the team. Halfway through report I was thinking why isn't Thorsen leading out Kankovsky.
Great reporting

Weird gap at the end of stage 2. So far, not much from Nateghi but hopefully he can atleast bring some Top 5's at some point.

It is quite nice to see sprinters in charge here. Two inactive teams though winning out, was a little surprised Metzec didn't get the nod. Manarelli was right there in the right place but sadly no real kick. Sort of underlines why I got rid really he just isn't quite good enough.
Thorson still leads though is funny and time gap is interesting too - encourages for me bigger breakaways perhaps?

Interesting stage, but that often happens with wind. Good close sprint though. Hopefully the time loss will encourage B3B to f*cking do something

This stage was perfect for us but yet we fucked our train up by releasing Thorsen way too early, really frustrating after the Stage 1 win. I expected better, still it's more points and every point is vital for us now

Thorsen has my hopes up now after taking a surprise win, I knew asking for him to win again was pushing it haha

Pity Manarelli couldn't win it there.
Interesting to see the gap in the sprint. One of the first times I can recall it happening this season. It used to happen a bit more in previous PCMs - most frustratingly in Grand Tours, where a few favourites would often make the first group, but others wouldnt.

knockout - Couldn't have said it better.
Crazy that a terrible rider on the flat, Thorsen, can make the front group in such echelons.
Hoping the collective support for Manarelli will see him over the line 1st on the next stage. |

Scorchio news report filed for Radio Cadena Nacional.
Couple of quiet opening stages for the Colombian contingent as the MC CT tour kicks off, not unexpected with pan-flat profiles. Main outcome is to have successfully avoided any trouble and finished with the main GC contenders in both stages. A massive surprise result on stage one saw Daniel Thorsen taking a decisive stage victory. Rumour on the circuit had been that Thorsen has been contemplating retiring at the end of the season as a reputation for piling on the kgs and a lack of dedication to training have become attached to his name, hence he has been having difficulty finding a contract for 2015. This result should ensure that his agent receives a few (potentially misguided!) phone calls. A classy win by Brazilian national champion Rafael Andriato on stage 2 in a close finish at the line rewarded Venezuelan based Repsol-Cativen with a rare sprint victory. This should boost rider morale at a set-up where the MG scuttle-butt suggests the team manager has eloped with his secretary and a substantial proportion of this years budget. No team officials were willing to respond to questioning from this reporter!

Wow. Just like that our title challenge is gone, hands down, the worst piece of luck to hit any continental team this season hits us at the worst possible time.
What a shame.
What a shame.
