What a finish by Vantomme (and Van Stayen). Very important bonus seconds. A win or second place tomorrow could win us the GC which would top off a great week. Vantomme is getting better that's for sure.
Big win for CSC as well. Bacardi Venchi and CSC getting a win each. Found that amusing with how close they are in rankings fighting for direct promotion.

Even better that we got that win yesterday, or we would have lost quite a lot of ground in the rankings towards both Venchi & CSC. If nothing crazy happens tommorow this race should cancel itself out more or less pointswise.

Haussler doing really well again, this time his positioning was bad and he sprinted well. Shame he couldn't get a podium, bonus seconds would vault him into the top 10. Still, looks good so far |

YES! We couldn't let Venchi and Bacardi take all the points this race.
Don't look behind you tsmoha, we are all coming for you.

Cioban did what I asked of him, so that's nice.
Some good reports as well.

Ventoso Promotion fight just keeps getting better and better! 11 of the Top 13 are from Top 6 teams - so yes, not a good race for Oz here!

Having such a shitty tour that our highlight so far is a domestique getting the shared KOM lead by accident

Not sure how Ignatiev winning Britain will help you...
Anyway, thnanks for the report, another top10 for Hoffman is cool and still two in the top20 GC.

Don't discount the double punch of Reus and Gautier as well though the latter is only there to stop Bobridge getting bonus seconds |

Bellis won't be there
Great win for Vantomme here and the strength of Quickstep think I counted 5 in the top 15 |

Think we lost about 20 points on the final stage there, Haussler reverting back to type and Turgot crashing costing us dear. Think we got 57 points in the end, which at 11.4 PPRD isn't bad for a flat race but with Haussler performing at the same level as Hoffman or Gatto like he should be capable of and without Turgot and Boroš crashing we could have done a lot better.
Thanks for the reports Rider. Great job here |

Wow, my team did some crazy stuff there.
Sixth in the GC is great, however I feel like we could've done better if Vaitkus was left behind by the team when he crashed...
Relegation becomes less likely

I'll admit, I would definitely have taken around 480 points from this race before it began Vantomme really strong on this last stage, lead from 1.5 km and still held off Hoffman, impressive effort. He didn't start the season well, but he is finishing it off in style
5 in Top 15 is pretty cool in a HC race, even better than Dunkerque I believe And coming close-ish to 100pprd is a good achievement.

Vantomme needed twice as much time for me to start performing.
Lucky guy, Alak. |

Yeah, fantastic last stage for Metinvest with 2nd and 4th, of course shame we lost it only about few millimetres, but 8th in GC for Hoffman is perfect and Popkov joint KOM winner also nice in this HC race, where i expected nothing great.
We just cant stop rolling now in MG summer, grabbing much more points than in rest of the whole year during these two months. With Bayern still to come...
Hoffman has shown that he is still one of the best in following wheels in PCT, just when i am thinking about his future.
Congrats to Quickstep, deserved win for Vantomme! Thanks for the reports Rider, very good read it was.
Congrats to

The team is managed by Alak, everybody performs for Alak be it in Het Nieuwsblad or Quickstep (maybe bar Froome).
