At least Dowsett was aggressive and trying to gain time.
But what an insane race Hussein Manfred is having. 3/3 breakaways, now 2nd overall, KoM lead, and U25 lead.

At least Mihahylov got the message to try and wow the fans.... otherwise this is turning into a disasterous race very quickly. Need Peter to do anything on the tougher stages

Jan Dieteren had another strong race out of the break. He contested all the intermediate points and the bonus second moved him from 68th to 7th in the GC. He is also currently 2nd in the KoM and 4th in the U25.
Mattie Breschel sprinter to 3rd place on the stage and moved up 4 spots in the GC to 10th. Fabio Taborre finished 5th on the non-selective stage. German Sprinter Theo Reinhardt has had 3 very steady days and is currently in 2st slot on the GC standings.
All in all a 10 point deposit and a solid day of racing for AMEXpc.
The next stage would be a really good one for Jan Dieteren to expend his energy early on the first climb to get away and contest those two early intermediate points.

Cool, another podium from Grosu, who benefited from nice Privatbank lead-out.
Eduard is becoming one of our best riders this year and he is still lvl3 only and 76 sprint. Hopefully Popkov will now continue nice tour for Metinvest and will fight for top10-15 together with Ghisalberti.
Thanks for the fast reporting Tsmoha, you are doing awesome job for the MG in last couple of weeks.

Seeing Artem work hurts me inside... He should conserve his energy...
Ulanowkski did do well here, shame Guillen was faster...

Guillen, what a race he is having!
Really believed we would get nothing from this race considering i sent zero climbers and no real strong team around Guillen, but what a rider he is!

Great!
That's the stage win I wanted, and certainly deserved for Dowsett after so much effort. No gaps isnt great for GC though, and Kashechkin is looking ominous. Quite curious to see just what the gaps will be.
The KoM competition is looking pretty nice and green at the moment. It's no guaranteed that Jaguar can keep it, but certainly a healthy position.

As a former owner, I´m a big fan of Guillén, but it´s pretty weird to see him sitting on 2nd place after 2 hilly stages

Man, that was anticlimactic as hell. Such a stage should not have 93 riders finish s.t.

Terrible AI, but another top10 for Grosu and he holds his 4th position, so not much of a complaining from Metinvest. Next stage will be interesting, anything can happen there, so i just hope it is not a disaster for us.
Congrats to Jaguar.

Two good final days for Panayotov with two top10 finishes. 6th GC is also great for him, his best GC result of the year i believe, and is the closest we've come to hitting a goal. Mihaylov and Hristov were visible at times and the rest of the team had an amazing time riding on home turf. The decision to send an all Bulgarian team wasn't the obvious choice, Izagirre would have been great here, points wise but we had to for our sponsors. Another 1-2 years down the line and we will have an 8 man team of competitve points scoring Bulgarians, just you wait.
We are now 0/4 in Goals, and not looking all that strong in the Americas Tour at the moment. So i'm expecting another 0/5 season there but we have come a lot closer this season, proof we are moving in the right direction year on year. Loved the race, thank you tsmoha and SN for reporting and including it.

This is probably the worst AI of the season. This: https://prntscr.co...
Finishes in main group and 10th on GC is just wow. Beats Bos taking rankings points at PT by a mile
Great reports Tsmoha, great read. And well done to all winners.

Well then. So much for that GC win.
Cobo finishes 31st and my up-and-coming cobble talent Altur wins the king of mountain and finishes 20th.
Let's give a round of applause to Cyanide everybody...

Wait, wait, wait. Marco Guillen finished in the front group on a mountain stage? Nah, fuck this. PCM, please, go home. |

Yeah... Kinda disappointing race after reporting some interesting mountain races recently... Well, strange things happen irl, too
Some huge fails though. Cobo as the biggest. Congrats to all who did well, at least some favorites did quite well here.

Terrible AI, but at least i had a rider in the first small group. Good performance from Hirschlein.
While i'm at it, how do the points work in a 5-way tie in the GC? Do the points get split? Just asking because Hirschlein finished 3th of those 5 tied in the stage, but was placed last of them in the GC.
