Hello and welcome to stage 3 of the Ruta de San Luis. Today fancies climbers with Konig favourite. Westra is up front as we reach the climb. The break is swallowed at 10K to go of the climb. At the top of the climb my rider Huzarski came first. There are 11 riders together with 10 to go. Konig attacks and is joined by others. Paul Stamina wins ahead of a group of 4 others including Konig.
Konig: So disappointed that I couldn't capitalize on other attacks and had to settle with fifth.

Konig: I need to take time tommorow although Barta is a better TT rider so if he gets a big gap on me he will be the leader.
Machado: I'm currently at a pre season training camp and enjoying the TDU and San Luis. I'm supporting Konig to keep his leadership. Go team Net-app |

Start: Hello and welcome as we begin a 20 kilometre TT which contains a gradual descent and a gradual ascent.
Konig: As the last of my team to go it's all pressure on me.
When Konig went of the start line his teammate Barta was not far off at the line
Konig had a good first time check.

Stage 5: Welcome to the Queen stage of the Ruta de San Luis. Konig will want to redeem the troubles he got himself into yesterday.There is a group of 8 up the road currently. However Cofidis and lotto belisol are setting the pace. Team Net app are setting a high pace at the front.
The break are struggling with only 2 mins 30 seconds on the peloton.
The break is holding it's gap with not long before the harsh climb of the Cerro el amago.
Two thirds are complete of the race with favourites attacking. My team reels them in.
Movistar hit the front.
I attack and create a good gap.
I'm in the second group ready to attack for victory.
Zundio wins the stage. I finish ninth.

Welcome to stage 7 of the Ruta de San Luis.
The last chance for G.C. riders to do their business. Konig needs to win this stage on the last climb which hits the hardest of hardest of gradients.
7 man breakaway with westra,Kadri,teborre,Moro,Locatelleli,Hernandez,Gutierrez.
2 minutes over the first of 3 climbs today.
63 left In the peloton with the break maintaining their pace.
The breaks maintaining their pace.
5 to the Sprint.
2 and a half mins at the Sprint.
At the last sprint there is a gap of 2 20.
25K to go and this is far from over
We're at the foot of the climb and there are 2 riders attacking of the breakaway.
10K to go. Teborre goes on an attack.
Gutierrez wins. Konig loses more time at the end of a rusty season start.
KONIG: That wasn't my best season start but I took a top 10 general with a sprinters stage to go. My next event is probably TIRRENNO ADRIATICO |
